so they are just over 4 weeks now, the main one is still looking awesome, it's 11 inches right now, and the under growth is still exploding, it seems like everyday its gaining two new branches...i've calmed down on my obsessiveness, i was checking on them every hour, now i know i am probably the biggest enemy of the plant's success so i only check on them in the morning. i was looking for some advice as far as pruning goes, i really don't want to, but when the plant was 2 weeks old it got singed by the light and 4 of the leaves are crumpled and burnt, not sure if they should be removed...and i decided i'm gonna veg them as long as possible to try and get the biggest yield...honestly just hoping for an oz.

but here are the pics, haven't had a single brown or yellow spot appear in over 2 weeks!:?

they are lookin real pretty. soon u might have to add a few lights to penetrate the canopy
I agree don't know (or need to) about what part of the world you are in but if you have a wally world you can pick up a single shop 2 bank T12 48" Floro light for about $9.00 and the 2 pack of 40W red or blue spectrum (not equivalent) will give you 80 more true watts (don't know the equivalent)

Speaking from recent experience I think you will be happy with the results verse the cost

got these results by adding 2 more because they were soooo cheap and local $30 bucks got me 2 more setups and I mixed the bulbs red blue red blue

so i have a question about my nutes...the type i got tells you to spread the nutes on top of the soil covered by foliage...everyone else seems to be adding their nutes to their water...am i doing something wrong? and is 16-4-8 okay for veg?

so i picked up some mollasses, and i'm going to be adding it to every other watering, i don't know if it's gonna increase growth or result in stored up sugars for when i switch to flowering in about 2 weeks, i am currently on day 32 and it is about 15 inches tall

so it's day 38, they survived the final transplant, twelve more days until i'm gonna switch it over to flower...as you can see i'm up to 12 cfls... the count is 4 16w daylight, 2 23w daylight 5 23w cool white and 1 43w cool white...can anyone tell me if they can determine sex, it has two pistils in the thing next to the stipule, anyone have anymore suggestions or pointers? i added perilite to the soil this time around with top soil that has no added nutes

is it true plants will triple in size when brought to flowering?
they won't triple in size but they will continue to grow a little bit but no where near as fast as they have been in the veg stage. during flowering it focuses most of its growing on the production of the buds, not the plants overall size.
