the light has a growth and bloom switch on and when only bloom is on only red light is emmited, anyone know if this is actually good for flowering or should i just keep using the whole spectrum like normal?

Personally I'd keep the whole spectrum normal, unless you want to toss some supplemental cfls. I think it needs certain spectrum to get the plants hormones to react so only red might not be the best. How many kelvins is your red rated at?

well, antrky, how r u gettin on now? any more updates? I am in to buing few of these light units. so just looking some feedback and the results of it. how many u said plants have down there? where did u bought the lights from, as I see few sellers on ebay.
