Hey, been on the site for a while but this is basically my first attempt at growing. Got some clones through dark heart on June 1 (4x purple punch, 1x romulan, 1x pink nepali). Ive just been giving them filtered water for most of the month. I didn't have any florourecents day 1 so I left them mostly in the shade for 10 days or so.. i know lighting is preferable if bringing them straight from a club..
A few of them seemed to show signs of flowering within two weeks so I got some florourecents to put them under after the sun went down till morning for 10 days and for the past 5 days or so I've giving them around 18 hours total of light.
I transplanted to one gallon pots at around three weeks which seemed to go fine, but in the last week or so growth has slowed and the discoloration is new in the last 3 to 4 days, with exception to one or two yellow leaves which had been that way since the first week.
Two days ago as they were looking droopy and lighter in color I gave them a bit of flora nova (quarter tsp in a gallon) and silica (half tsp in gallon) divided between 7 plants but they weren't fully dry so I only used three quarters of that gallon. My buddy who is growing the same batch of purple punch clones outside had been giving his flora nova and silica since two weeks in, and while mine were doing better at first, his seem happier now.
I've been testing ph of water frequently and it's been good for the most part, but maybe a week ago gave them some that was maybe as low as 4.0.. hoping that wasn't a huge issue..
The thing is, my buddy brought one of his girls over a day or two after I got the florescent as he worried of it flowering, so I've been tending to her the same as my girls, and she looks great. He took her home tonight in case it was something that spreads..
I'm new to all of this but I am wondering if this could be from nutrient deficiency or lockout? Hoping it's nothing more serious like disease.. maybe slight heat burn as well? The discoloration of some of the leaves are quite concerning.
Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a ton.
