Any love for vaping through water?

Just for science and this awesome thread about medicating…

Absolute strongest experience was with flower (not aftervape) ground to fine powder and added to milk, double boiled, 160F was the magic temp, 30 minutes minimum. No need to decarb before this process does it.
One of the strongest experiences was when I boiled an extremely sticky volcano bag in milk. Too bad I chose to start doing it at 9pm. Fell asleep quite early on... And then woke up at 9am so high I had to walk downstairs very carefully holding both rails. I worked at a gallery at the time and thank god only two people came in that day. I ate all the pop corn and cookies they had stashed

Unreal bioavailability. Mind blowing strength. Be careful.

I found out later that some believe this to be the fabled soma and I’m just gonna say that’d be my guess too. Or maybe they used cured hashish instead of flower but no edible has come close.

I haven’t tried this since I went plant based and can’t say if coconut milk is the same.
That's awesome info! I used to use a similar procedure to extract from leftover stems and sticks. Those little guys are unexpectedly full of resin.
Interesting theory about the soma; I think that there is still some sort of tradition going on in India in this sense because there's something they call bhang which is basically cannabis milk.

Some other researchers point to Amanita muscaria for soma (although nobody has quite yet figured out how to maximise muscarin while isolating the other intoxicants, but I'm pretty sure in ancient times they had some knowledge - especially about botanics - we have lost). Some others claim it was psilocybin mushrooms. There's also an interesting theory about the origins of Soma and its transformation into the Eleusinian mysteries; if I'm not mistaken, according to Brian Muraresku (author and researcher) the Mysteries started with mushrooms and evolved into ergot-spiked wine. Some argue that ergot is extremely dangerous, but, as a matter of fact, archaeologists recently found in Spain (if I'm not mistaken) amphorae with traces of...ergot-spiked wine!

I think coconut milk would work perfectly- I believe it's the lipids that strip the cannabinoids from the plant. Coconut milk should have the same lipids (in different percentages) as coconut butter, which I use regularly and works exceedingly well. Perhaps coconut milk with a dollop of coconut butter melted in it.

Ahah, this is awesome! Next time they'll have to hide their snacks in a safer place! Out of the reach of stoners

I smoked most of my life so I hope I didn’t come off preachy. I’m probably biased by any health benefits too. Trying to save me lungs for the hashish which is usually my undoing hah.
Not at all. Sharing knowledge taken from direct experience is a true act of love. I do have to agree, to a certain extent, about the hash. I think it expresses its best qualities in a joint...I will say something unpopular now...with tobacco. BTW, one of my favourite hash makers recently passed; Frenchie Cannoli, he was doing some amazing old school temple balls. I did have some success in vaping hash with a DynaVap though, it's not bad at all...even though pressing hash into rosin seems to work best for me.
Did you know that originally hash was consumed orally? In a kind of marmalade form.

It is! actually, I remember Frenchie's recipe...I don't remember the name tho...but he was doing something like this:

1) breaking up half a gram (well, probably it was more like 1 gram) of hash into little pieces and putting it in 2 shots of brandy
2) leaving it to melt overnight
3) the next morning, brew an ultra-potent black coffee (like an espresso for example)
4) mix the brandy+hash together with the coffee
5) add sugar and milk
6) drink, then go to the cinema

Damn R.I.P. Frenchy, I had no idea he passed. I learned my tech from his YouTube vids and made so much killer hash. Lays it all out and made it so easy. Everyone should start there for bubble.

I’ve heard about hash being eaten yes I’ve never actually tried it though. I’ll have to give it some more tries in the vapes and do plan to build a press this year.

I did pick up some Everclear to work up some reclaim concentrate finally. Apparently that’s as good as it gets here in Michigan. Started with my grinder! haha

It’s like milk is just the perfect liquid fat to soak up and get you the goods. Honestly when I’ve gotten the dose right I’ve found it less sedating than say flower butter baked into things. Way more heady and psychedelic.

My story was that I was making a batch and realized oh shit I used skim milk instead of whole milk. It’d only been boiling for like 30 minutes where usually I went 1-1.5 hours. I figured it was going to be weak with less fat and especially 30 minutes and just drank it all. I was so wrong. It was full strength and I drank way too much. It was very much like a trip. I loved every minute honeslty and was ready for it but still at the peak I had trouble talking and literally was so high I couldn’t eat/swallow lmao.

Anyway it’s a good easy fast way to get strong meds if needed and agree that coconut milk should work fine.

Yea I was watching something and now can’t remember what. In digging about this someone had found some good evidence that soma was also created from some bountiful unknown crop mixed with milk. Then it’s possible that bhang was just a different name for the same thing, different dialect that stuck. Anyway just another fascinating mystery surrounding the history of this plant. Watching it I kept thinking yea that’s how you get there lmao.

I find the history of psychedelics interesting too and definitely did my fair share when I was younger. I get most of what I need now from the good herb and can’t even imagine having enough time for a full blow trip haha

Frenchie was making some killer old school hash, I love the way he worked with that hot bottle tech.
Yes, the history of psychoactive substances is so fascinating. The knowledge was just taken away from us the people I believe, and I wonder if this is one of the reasons why humanity is so lost nowadays. That feeling of oneness and communion, that exploration of the good and the bad of one's soul, might be just what we need to reestablish a vision that goes beyond the material world.
I know...a full-blown trip takes time. Both in the preparation and in the act itself. I personally still trip twice or three times a year. Psilocybin. What I do is fill myself up with positive experiences, natural food, sports, friendship, for smth like a couple of months, just trying to be the best that I can be. Then I take mushrooms to check if I've been doing it right.
Grinders are a great way to start ethanol extractions. I'm curious to see the results!

I like your approach @Bongify.eu

Hey @PadawanWarrior, you have a chance to try out the V8R?

My best torch tech would be:

Initial heat for total 20 seconds.

Keep the quartz about an inch from the blue tip of the flame. I spin slowly the whole time heating below the middle of the quartz for the first 5 seconds. Then pack the heat into the center quartz for 10 seconds and get the top half last 5.
Reheats I do the same bottom to top heating but for 10-12 seconds.

Been filling the bong with perfect tokes using exactly this timing. Different torches will vary slightly.

No, never tried one. Just learning how to use this one. The Silver Surfer kicks its ass though.

No doubt! When I eventually throw down for a desktop that’ll be the way I go.

I do pretty damn well with the V8R though it took some practice. Once you get used to it you can fully extract.

I was being a dork calling it the “V8R” lol but that heating tech I posted was for this. Torch heating the quartz takes some getting used to.

I really am like all who say gimme a good old bong toke. A good bong or bubbler always topped everything else in effect. Still does too! Elev8r might not be the most efficient vape but that might be why it does the trick and completely sealed the deal on quitting actual smoking for me. Very clean low tech which I also love.

I use the pax 3 portable vape it’s good, would be interesting to try vaping through water.
Uhm, the Pax 3...yes, I've heard of people using through water.
I believe it could benefit enormously from some water filtration, being a 100% conduction vape.

Check out this website: https://delta3dstudios.com/pax3-waterpipe-adapter/

I personally don't know the guy but the WPA he sells looks pretty good and versatile.
I hope this helps!

And...well, if you need a waterpiece, I obviously suggest you check our website: www.bongify.nl
:) free shipping to the US for orders of 75€ and above.
