Any love for vaping through water?

Of those two I'd rather go for the mighty. Bigger battery and temp control on the device instead of an app.
Not the sexiest-looking vape, but it stood the test of time and it'll deliver the hit you are looking for. I think it is still the best portable electronic around, especially for experienced users. Easy to use through water too.

That's a great tip. I sometimes do that as well. I have a bitch of an insert though made of some sort of semi-porous stone/quartz that got heavily scorched and I just cannot clean it, do you have any suggestions? I was thinking some sort of acid...
No suggestions for cleaning it. I just buy new inserts when they get too bad. They're less than $2.50 each.

im thinking just doing the Crafty or the Mighty? have you tried either?
I’ve not tried either no, but both of those have some strong following. I’ve seen quite a few say they love them.
I’ve tried the original Pax and it has some cool things about it like stealth which those would too. I’d bet the new ones are pretty nice too.

I’m bad though I found the dynavap some years ago and got used to it and that has been my convenience piece since. I have been looking out for something new too though.

Have you ever tried a Brick? It's 100% convection; hits and tastes very different than a Dyna. I personally use Dynas and Bricks as my daily drivers and I think they complement each other perfectly.

I’ve not. I don’t like the way it heats with the torch. I’ve tried to not inhale any lighter vapors for years and years so I have a hard time with their design. I use way too much.

I’ve seen it has a new heater though which might change things for me with it. Pricey to try tho.

True, I know what you mean; I had the same concerns. Butane should burn quite clean though, especially the better quality ones, and I also think it cannot be worse than breathing polluted city air in a sense, or smoking. The new heaters seem like a game-changer. If I'll be able to put my hands on one of those in the future, I'll post here some sort of review or something.

I just didn’t have a clue when I was younger. So many bong hits with a bic lighter. I don’t know how much of that crap I sucked down but once I realized it I’ve tried to avoid. So it’s just a carry over from smoking and really crappy lighters.

The torches do burn cleaner and the product should be like 99.9% CO2. I feel I’ve used 8.5 of my 9 lives though haha. I probably shouldn’t even vape as much as I do but edibles just don’t do it for me 100%. Your lungs heal way faster and stay strong with vaping.

I 100% agree with this statement. Vaping is defiantly not the same buzz.
I’d have even agreed up until maybe a year ago. I got good enough with the vapes I have and have it equal for flower. There’s a bunch of vaporizers that don’t cut it at all though. And there is a pretty steep learning curve maybe especially if you used to smoke like me.

Dabs I’d even say I get more from low temps. Can’t hold the high temp hit for shit.

Hash I need to smoke still tho. Doesn’t seem to activate fully otherwise.

Makes weed taste better and last longer too.

My new portable just got here. Gonna have to check it out tonight. :weed:

Technically though, dabbing is vaporizing. And a decent-sized dab of some good dry sift rosin can get me almost as high as the first joints I used to smoke back in high school when I had cramps on my cheeks from laughing too much. To investigate this further we need some sort of experiment; like smoking 0.5g of flowers in a bong VS extracting all of the cannabinoids in that 0.5 g and doing a dab out of it. Then check how the buzzes compare.

When you're dabbing though you are vaporizing all the terps and cannabinoids. When vaping flower everything is consumed at a single temp, but different cannabinoids are activated and different temps. I always feel when vaping that i'm not getting the full package from the flower

Sure, I totally understand your point. Again, it would be interesting to do some testing, like smoking a .5g in a bowl VS vaping it and then somehow consuming the AVB and the reclaim/honey oil produced from the vaping session in the same go (to have the full spectrum of cananbinoids), and see what gets you higher. Then, also measure the CO saturation in the blood, and see how that affects the buzz. Basically, getting super high for the sake of science.

I smoked most of my life so I hope I didn’t come off preachy. I’m probably biased by any health benefits too. Trying to save me lungs for the hashish which is usually my undoing hah.

Just for science and this awesome thread about medicating…

Absolute strongest experience was with flower (not aftervape) ground to fine powder and added to milk, double boiled, 160F was the magic temp, 30 minutes minimum. No need to decarb before this process does it.

Unreal bioavailability. Mind blowing strength. Be careful.

I found out later that some believe this to be the fabled soma and I’m just gonna say that’d be my guess too. Or maybe they used cured hashish instead of flower but no edible has come close.

I haven’t tried this since I went plant based and can’t say if coconut milk is the same.
