Anyone else watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

50 people destroying stuff huh? Your bias is showing.

Anyways, I hope that if one day some black kid decides to illegally obtain a gun and comes into your suburb and picks a fight and starts to kill people because they got scared when supposedly trying to be a hero and stop a crime instead of reporting it, you are just as adamant about their right to self defense.

But it is doubtful since you decided out of all the trials about white people killing others you just happen to make a thread about this baby faced killer that just happens to be a darling of the right wing propagandists.

You really seem to like pretending that it is ok to say that because you spell it with an 'a'. It is not. You are just being full on race baiting troll now.

That is exactly what the DA said when questioning the cinematographer. He said “ So you had a huge group of people smashing up cars and breaking windows in the parking lot next door.” The DA said this LOL. That’s not biased that’s facts! As for your bullshit scenario about what if it were some this or that doesn’t mean anything. We can speculate all day long and you are trying to make it into some racial dog whistle which it is not. When this kind of unrest happens you have different groups that come out. Some are really trying to protest and make a difference and then you have the criminals that look for any chance to cause chaos and destroy property. The first group is similar to Rittenhouse and feel they are doing the right thing and there is nothing wrong with that. The second group, the ones trying to start chaos would be out there for any reason whether it be civil unrest or a natural disaster looting, stealing, harming others. It was said many times the actual protesters would try to stop the rioters and hold them back from committing crimes. I don’t think most of you are making a distinction between protesters and rioters

Why are you getting so angry? I'm not predicting anything, just comparing the quality of the arguments being made.

Your side isn't making any sense. Why would Rittenhouse flee the scene if, as you said, he was innocent? He shot a man in the back and ran away. Crossed state borders to get away. These are objective facts that you don't address. You put up images and tell us what you think as if that has any weight whatsoever. I read your ramblings, which are filled with speculation interspersed with outright falsehoods. Compared to the very simple argument that people who accidently shoot somebody in a crowd like Rittenhouse did, they do not run past police and flee across state borders to get away.
crouched running position makes perfect sense fogdog. i always run from a crouch back first, just smarter more logical and more nuanced that way

before he did that he circled around like he didn't know what happened; like he was a bystander. he was told to call 911 and called a friend saying he shot someone (the person attending to Rossenbaum heard him say it); he then ran away..home? or did he go somewhere else? i'm confused are you trying to say he killed people and left the state knowing full well what he did right from the start when he was told to call 911.

Enter Kyle Rittenhouse who would kill people to protect property nobody asked him to protect.

Again, you aren't making a good reason for acquitting the man.

so some short little guy (who threw a plastic bag at you that went nowhere)) grabs for your gun and you shoot them dead? Rossenbaum DNA was not present on the gun anywhere.

Rossenbaum missed and lost his life.

His DNA wasn’t on the gun because the police admitted they didn’t swab the barrel which is beyond bizzare and was brought up by the defense. Personally I don’t think they wanted to find the DNA which could let Rittenhouse walk because they know there will be possible backlash. Total speculation but I don’t put it past the powers that be

three days of unrest after the cops shot an unarmed black man 7 times and the only person to commit a serious crime was rittenhouse

None of this matters, at the end of the day it is down to how the jurors find the evidence.

I for one hope that the don't make it ok for a kid to get a gun illegally and go to a city of a national championship college team right after they win sporting the opposing teams gear so they can pick a fight and start killing people only to claim self defense.

Unlike @BodegaBud , I'm not going to state it with certainty. But the question remains. Did Kyle's apparently deliberate actions to cover his tracks after he shot and killed three men (one of whom he shot in the back), then fleeing the state in what could be described as the getaway car amount to a confession of guilt?

Picking a fight would show intent and entrapment. You guys are making it personal and nobody should be looking at anything but the facts

He couldn’t turn himself in at the police station in Kenosha because it was fenced off due to unrest. It can also be argued it would be unsafe to do so. I would definitely drive to a different town and turn myself in far away the angry mob. The fact is he did in fact turn himself in.
