Anyone else watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

yep. Inflation above 3% for an extended period will wipe out anybody living on a fixed income if it goes on very long and the high prices stick. That's why the right wing troll went to it. I'm not denying that inflation is rising right now. Food prices are going up, along with other products that are in demand. The causes of inflation are temporary and long term outlook is for food prices to snap back once employment and supply chain issues are corrected.

The fed is predicting CPI to drop from 5% in 2021 to 2% in 2022. I'm putting my chest out and saying it right now. The country is going to be back to work with wages that are higher than they were pre-pandemic and healthy economy in 2022, a mid-term election year. No wonder Republicans are dour.

You can look up the prison term and history on Google and as far as the psych meds it came up in the trial. Of course Rittenhouse was aware of neither but it does explain the erratic aggressive behavior that night.
I saw a guy that had been aggressive and had threatened to kill Rittenhouse earlier if he caught him alone chase Rittenhouse, throw a bag, yell at him, heard a gunshot, and saw him corner him. Honestly if you were Rittenhouse would you not have defended yourself?
do you know what type of prison term Kyle has served? do you know what medications Kyle was taking that night he executed 2 people?

these are serious questions, please answer.

Well there was a video that proved what he did. That video evidence will free you or hang you. I think Rittenhouse is damn lucky to have that. As far as the other guy the only defense I heard was that some claimed it was an overdose. I don’t know why he didn’t put him in the car after he quit resisting. There was no need to hold him down like that with his knee. As far as the evidence I didn’t really pay attention either way.
Prosecutors wouldn't have brought charges if they thought the video proved what you say. We all saw the same video that you describe and most don't see what he did as self defense. Whether lawyers are working for the defense or prosecution, a typical tactic in in a trial is to get the jury to focus only on the evidence that proves your case. Given Rittenhouse's weak case, his lawyers would be negligent if they didn't do that.

So it's completely understandable why you want to focus on a few seconds of video that might sow doubt in the minds of a few jurors. The preponderance of evidence shows that Rittenhouse is most likely guilty. No wonder you want only to talk about a few seconds of video that are entirely open to the biases of the viewer. It's offensive that you think we are stupid and talk as if we are but I'm not surprised that you do.

I’m not on it the other dude keeps asking me to explain it. He should watch the trial they explained it better than I can
Haven't watched every minute, but they haven't gotten into the technical details of these charges from what I've seen, nor have I seen it in other public cases. All they've done is talk about the physical events of the evening. I think maybe it's something explained behind the scenes, or maybe the jury is just given copies of the charges and definition, not sure how that works exactly. But, you have to read the charges and definitions to form an opinion on the case, you can't just watch videos and say, "it looks like self-defense to me", because that's not how laws work. You can have a person guilty of murder without that person ever killing anyone, because law is more complex than what things look like to the average person.

Right? What kind of person thinks it's a good idea to make illegal straw purchases of a firearm and then for a minor to illegally carry that weapon out into the streets? Someone that doesn't know jack shit about laws, or parenting, that's who.
