Anyone Have A Bread Machine?

I have a sunbeam bread machine. I rarely use it. I don't like the shape of the loaves and also, I just prefer to do it by hand.

I have a zojirushi and it's great nothing better than fresh bread. I use it almost every day

^^^^Thanks Beardo!

I just got one for the wife. Damn thing makes meatloaf and jams. Got up the mountain late last night and she had a loaf of fresh honey wheat ready for me. Warm and a nice crust on it. Matter of fact, I see half that loaf sitting on the counter. I'm gonna get me some.

Bread machines are great for making dough, you don't have to bake your loaf in the machine. Try it on the dough cylce, remove, shape and bake as you normally would. I make all kinds of dough in my machine, dough for pizza, rolls, buns, and loaves. I like to bake my bread on a stone, which is the biggest reason that I don't bake in the machine. I have used my bread machine 15+ times in the past year and only 1 time to bake a loaf in it. I like fresh bake breads, it is my weakness when it comes to food.:leaf::leaf::leaf:

baking bread by hand my be more work but, IMHO its kind of theraputic, kneading dough, the patience and the reward when you get that very fresh out of the oven artisan bread.

Can't have my carpal tonal flaring up. I hear what you are saying, but if you ever want to by past the therapeutic part and just want some fresh home baked bread without the labor, use a bread machine. I still knead from time to time by hand, I think it's the manual work that makes the bread taste a little bit better. Still, it's all good to me!:leaf::leaf::leaf:

I made two loaves of French bread. I made the dough in my bread machine on the manual setting. I divided the dough into two, this is the one that didn't get eaten for dinner. My bread machine saves a lot of wear and tear on my body, I can enjoy a good homemade loaf without all the work. I like my bread:leaf::leaf::leaf:

How does making jam in the bread machine work? Have you tried it yet? How are you liking your new toy so far? Bread (as do everything else) tastes better with the munchies. :leaf::leaf::leaf:

Sorry for dropping out but hey, thats just me,,,,,

I fricking love this bread machine!

Red made some Strawberry jam and it was out of this world!

Mountain air, good healthy diet. lots of walking in the mountains.

I kicked it's ass and sent it packing. Never had a fight in my life like this one.

Dropped to 120 lbs and Ol' Man Death was getting ready to snatch my ass up.

Yeah, you can knock me down and daze me, but I'll get back up for more
with a smirk on my face and a joke on my tongue.

Valhalla ain't ready for me yet.
