Anyone Know Where My Topsy-Turves's Are?

holy bo jeebus this yet another crazy but awesome idea, I am drooling for some pics of this....... keep cooking up them ideas you crazy scientist

this is gonna be neat... i remember some folks talkin bout it last year but this is the first i've seen of mj in it!
 
so my question is:

do roots grow towards gravity or just in the opposite direction of the top?
the plant knows it's upside down because of the sun. do the roots know they are upside down?

i will watch the surface of the soil to see if roots come up.
 
tbh though, i've seen(and i know you have too) roots come up through the soil in a normally positioned plant... just ran out of roots space...

I was thinking that too. I think that the roots would first try to grow down because of gravity's pull, but then realize there are no nutrients there and start reaching up.

And WTF is up with the company you ordered the Topsy Turvy's from??? 2-6 weeks for delivery.... shit were they going to grow some tomatoes for you? Nothing should take 6 weeks to deliver these days... most certainly not a few little plant baskets. :D

i sent them an email and haven't heard back or received my order yet.




i planted a second one today. i'm to tired to take pics. :blsmoke:
 
this grow is awesome
the first time i saw that damn commercial i thought of it
especially since it said herbs as one of the things to use it for haha
 
This will be a good experiment to put roots to the test. Can they beat the force of gravity? Stay tuned and find out!
