You have had plenty of time to test this in your first 2 grows?
Autos are no different than photos regarding transplanting IMO. Never had any problems, main issue I think is that most newcomers grow autos hence all the problems with transplant shock.

It's just a plant, just don't be an idiot and disturb roots when you transplant. Plants can't tell the difference, it's like putting on a bigger skirt, lol. Cheers

I have pushed the limits before don't get me wrong I just try to avoid stressing my plants if it's not necessary. The reason for my smart ass comment above, the one you quoted, is this guy sure has a lot of opinions on all sorts of grows and styles ect, when he claims it's only his second or 3rd grow ever. I mean I believe a lot of shit but this guy sticks his fingers in all the pies, seems suspect.

Never claimed anything. I can't change the name of the thread, or I would have. I wanted to have everything in one place for my own reference.

There are plenty of pictures in the journal if you'd like to take a look, but please keep any smartass comments to yourself over there.

I've only grown coco and never have claimed to have tried any other style, nor have I made comments on other styles.

I have a direct way of speaking and talking and I think it rubs some people the wrong way. If you're one of them, sorry but I can't change who I am. Take care bud.

You didn't defend this the other day so how can I not assume it's true? Also you did tell me you're new to growing, word vomit or not. Also I don't fuck with autos really because I've had some dumb ass experiences with them. But I learned that over a decade of growing, not just some shit I say.
I apologise if I was way out of line there but I was just curious. You've also only been a member a year and your first grow is journaled on here so I assumed you were fairly new, but not that you have to be some old school elitist or anything.

Defend what the other day? That it's not my second grow? Why should I have to? Check out my signature if you have to. Turn your phone sideways.

Yes I'm a new grower, just over a year from the start of my second cycle growing. Doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. I've read and educated myself relentlessly since. My plants show the effort that I've put into them.

You're pretty defensive right now but whatever dude.

first of all this is not the proper way to treat a plant, let alone a seedling. don’t do this to the roots, never. there are microscopic hairs on those root strands and they attach themselves to your medium and when pulled out in such manner they die. when that happens plant will not be able to uptake anything and die.

To be honest hes very consistent in what he says. And the proof is in the pics....a year or not...if I went to college or started a job doing carpentry, I would do everything I can to produce the best and most effective work. Hes done his studying, CLEARLY knows his shit. Yes , he may come off rough, but there's no denying his skill. Period. LOOK AT THOSE PICS

A year doesn't seem like much.however with a passion and love for growing you put in ten times the amount that your average grower will put in a year. Just saying. Hes got his style down.

He seems like an alright dude but an interaction with him and another the other day that led me to believe the he was fairly new, only a few grows in. I agree he clearly has done his research. I only questioned what could have been accomplished by someone with limited experience and giving advice but like I said I was mistaken. I'm even willing to just forget about the whole thing, that's why I didn't argue further, that's why I didn't block him or something. I got defensive because I felt like he was just jumping down my throat, and honestly now I sort of feel like you're piling on but still I'm willing to forget the whole thing, admit that I was mistaken and move on.
