Cannabis compounds prevented the virus that causes Covid-19 from penetrating healthy human cells, according to a laboratory study published in the Journal of Nature Products.
The two compounds commonly found in hemp -- called cannabigerolic acid, or CBGA, and cannabidiolic acid, or CBDA -- were identified during a chemical screening effort as having potential to combat coronavirus, researchers from Oregon State University said. In the study, they bound to spike proteins found on the virus and blocked a step the pathogen uses to infect people.
The researchers tested the compounds’ effect against alpha and beta variants of the virus in a laboratory. The study didn’t involve giving the supplements to people or comparing infection rates in those who use the compounds to those who don’t.

Well I don’t know much about the study, but I am sitting at home with COVID instead of working. I had both vaccines and booster. I guess you could say that Cannabis compounds are just as effective as the vaccine.

Having both vaccines and booster doesn't make you immune from getting it, although it's going to help prevent you from ending up in the hospital and dying from it.
You should still practice good hygiene and social distancing from others if possible to prevent contracting it.

I know, I was being sarcastic. Thanks for the health tip though, I had never heard of social distancing, had to google it (Sarcasm again, sorry I can’t seem to stop today).

Speaking of sitting at home with Covid instead of working , my company has been sending people home left and right. All you gotta do is say you were near it, test neg and it’s an automatic five day paid holiday. Doesn’t make sense to me. Seriously fn thinking of grabbing me 5 days . You know why nobody can find tests cause all the big companies are sitting on thousands they seem to be endless here. They give out 2packs like Halloween

Tests *should* be free or cheap and plentiful (lookin' at places like London, where their health services literally give them away to people on street corners)... Asymptomatic people not testing and being at work or in social settings or schools is a big part of the problem.

BTW the same study states that only 19% of people don’t wash their hands after changing a diaper. Did your Mom wash hers after changing your diaper this morning? Nope

I’ve had my 2 jabs and vowed not to have a booster if boosters became available before they even realised they wanted everyone “boosted”.
did you know vaccine and antibody response wains after 8 weeks?
So are we expected to get “boosted” every 4-8 weeks?
Have a look at this interview with a previous Pfizer lead scientist (who holds no bad will towards Pfizer) and listen to what he has to say about the vaccines and who should actually be having them.

I agree I guess what I was saying is workers are seeing 5 days off and imo abusing the policy. If an asymptomatic person HAS to test and it’s neg then why the vacation. I doubt if a worker who feels fine and tested negative stays in quarantine for 5 days so not sure that does jack
