I love tending to the plants in my indoor grow. I've got lots of herbs, tomatoes, and some flowers growing with my girl. I usually just sit with the plants and contemplate the day.

just planted my leek seeds in 6 inch pots (2). 110 days to go. organic heirloom, "King Richard"

I am addicted to growing things, anything at all especially if it produces food or medicine for my family or presents a challenge to grow. Then ill go for it, my list of next cuttings and plants to get going is, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries (field and commercial seeds), 4 different tobacco strains and vanilla orchid. The wife and I currently have going 3 cherry tomatoes containers which we plan on hanging in baskets to let grow down into vines, purple cone flowers for the medicine, some basil, oregano and coriander as herbs, some velvet queen sunflowers for the seeds, a bunch of tropical plants and catus too. There's more but ill be posting pics at a later time don't need to bore ppl reading, everything is pretty young.

ye ye, they grow wild around here so they're pretty care free and super easy to use as medicine. Just dry out the roots, grind em up and ready to use. Make a decoction use 10ml every 2-3hrs during acute infection, or a tincture use 2-5ml every 2-3 hours for influenza, chills and urinary tract infections. You can also make a wash to clean and disinfect wounds, gargle it for sore throats, use it as a dust on skin for conditions like boils or combine it with marshmallow plant for eczema which my wife has outbreaks of works great. Or the good ol put it in a capsule take 200mg up to 3 times a day at onset of acute infections such as colds, influenza or kidney/urinary tract infections.
The flowers are also beautiful and attract butterfly and other pollinators, the flower i just collect for seeds or plant the whole head in the ground for lot's next year.
Always consult your physician first, these are medicine as is many plants out there and may have adverse reactions, especially if you're already taking pharmaceuticals. (not MJ lol)
I'm no pro with all this herbal medicine, but i have a very kick ass book on the subject and a background in emergency medicine yet unemployed which is fine because being a stay at home dad is the best job ever!! Payment for this is getting to be with my boys as they grow up, which no amount of money will ever be enough to equal this.

Awesome. I have some of that stuff lying around in the vitamin cabinet should I need it, but I would much prefer to have my own processed stock on hand.
I've just started getting into herbal medicine during the last few years. Pharmaceuticals are a bitch and a few years off of them and you appreciate and experience nature in a whole new way. I would prefer not to take any pharmaceuticals ever again. Maybe some antibiotics if nothing else is working and I have a raging infection.

I agree with you 100%, for one you never know exactly whats in the pills your buying so by making em yourself you know for sure. I beleive strongly that there is a plant out there for every thing and secondly the mark up on any pharmaceuticals is ridiculous, they pay pennies to produce em and charge thousands to get em. The more sick you are or desperate to get the medication the more expensive it usually is... very sad

Not to mention that a lot of them are physically addictive. Once you've been addicted to opiates and benzos it really puts into perspective how harmless marijuana is in general and and as far as its addiction potential.

I love growing I have a very large backyard garden where I'm growing Corn,Lettuce, Purple tomatoes, Carrots, Radishes, Spinich, Cherry tomatoes, Artichoke, Watermelon, And broccoli. I Love everything about growing your own food. I also hunt and fish I love filling my fridge with meat that I have kill myself. And now I grow my own Herb. it doesn't get much better than that. Now I just need a good woman and my life is complete

ROFL you can have as much sex as you want with all those empty pringles cans of yours, it's probably what they make those fleshlight things out of bahahaha jk. Food and water are greeat things to be addicted to! I think it's a heredetery addiction, my addictions go like this spending time with my kids, sex, cigarettes, mj, gardening number 1 and 2 conflict each other all the time sex is way less often with 2 little ones lol.

Thats a pretty sweet list of greenery growing in your backyard, how much room do you have if you don't mind me asking? Because I was interested in a lot of the kinds of plants your growing for next season, but my room is limited. I have cherry tomatoes going already, purple tomatoes and corn are next on my list, how do those purple tomacos taste. lol

bahaha I dont eat chips especially not pringles, to much temptation lmao. Besides even after marriage I would never fire Palmala and Wristine. lol
and purple tomatoes are also on my list, I heard they are very very healthy for you even better then regular tomatoes, almost like medicine but I have no clue where to find em.
