many property investors believe if you can afford an apartment you can afford a dealer ...cheek your lease...?

It has good reviews and I use it all the time. Obviously, if you take massive bong rips and like to pretend you're a dragon, it might not be for you.

my landlord lives 10 hours away from me.

get a landlord like that
Lol, mine grows herself.

She was bothered that I was growing and didn't tell her but I told her that I knew she had grown there before i moved in and that I knew she was growing at her new house too...

Now we smoke and trade cuttings.... Seemed to have worked out.

As for apartment stealth, just be careful that no one sees you bringing equipment/material in or disposing of plant material. Control light, smell, and sound and you should be good to go...

Good luck!

If you are still worried about smell from smoke (didnt bother to read all responses) should check out these little contraptioms called smoke buddies. I swear by them now, they arent ur standard tp roll with dryer sheets. They have a carbon filter in it and no smoke comes out the other end. Good for like a month of hard toking then they are so full of res you practically can not breath through it.
As far as growing, living in the sapce you are growing in fucking sucks, especially since idk bout you but i like it chilly when i sleep. The odor is easily taken care of by a carbon filter, a big fat one that you are pushing lots of air through.
Doesnt hurt to try to live by a family that likes to cooks their neals regularily, my hallway smells like fried rice and stir fry 24/7

Edit: read back a few posts and seen smoke buddy was suggested. For real though it is a trip to take your largest rip and exhale your rip through it and see no smoke come out.

my landlord lives in NY, and i'm on the west coast... he has never set foot in the place.

I have called the property management company twice in 8 years...and they never call me, so a match made in heaven

I'm old and have lived in apartments most my life, and I prefer it to a house

Go to every yard and thrift store you can find, until you find a nice tall dresser.

Take the drawers out and remove all the guides, but keep the front of the drawers.

Caulk all the corners.

Spray paint the inside with flat white or semi gloss white.

Install small lights into the inside top of it, fans in the corners. and have all your cables neatly aligned and leading out the back. through a small hole.

Drill a two inch hole in the back bottom of the dresser. A little bit of PVC in the hole, carbon filters inside and out, and a small fan directing air flow should control the smell.

Now cut a piece of plywood to fit the the big gaping hole that was the front of your dresser.

Put hinges on the inside of the plywood, and the drawers on the outside so it looks like it used to. Paint if necessary.

Use a Velcro to boarder the inside of the opening so you stays nice and tight when you close it.

In theory this will grow 1 or 2 plants for personal use.

In my experience... everyone assumes it's all about light and smell control, but it's easy to underestimate the noise element. When you're planning your space, make sure you accommodate the space needed to EFFECTIVELY mute an exhaust fan, or you are almost definitely going to have noise leaks. This means space for duct mufflers or a custom baffling box on the exhaust path to handle wind noise in addition to a good tight sealed fiberboard box stuffed with insulation around the fan itself to mute the direct noise from the fan.

Short of this approach, you will end up with audible spill over outside of the grow room, and quite possibly outside of your apartment as well.

This is of course assuming you are going to use serious exhaust fans... which I assume you are...
