This is the Apollo Mist, my current pride and joy. She is the result of a pre-98 Kali Mist mother, fathered by Apollo 11; a product of Reservoir Seeds.
The plants pictured are of my first attempt from seed. I didn't keep track of how long I vegged her from seed, but on my clone-generation grow I vegged her for 2.5 weeks resulting in a larger plant at flip time than from seed; so from-clone, I'd say about 2 weeks (maybe less) is roughly equivalent. On the same note, the seed generation was done under a 600w, while the clone generation is being done under a 1000w.
Both times she was topped once, and most branches bent over at least once during flower. She really loves to stretch!
Enough talk, on with the pictures. Here she is @ 63 days, taken out for the full-plant shot:
... and then again @ 66 days, in the garden this time:
Chopped @ 67 days:
Dried nugs:
I've gotta say that I was amazed in every way, on this plant. Given her initial stretching, I totally expected her to produce some typical fluffy, airy, light buds; instead she pleasantly surprised me with some quite dense, tight, heavy buds instead! The resin coverage was also way up there, I'm not sure if the pictures do her justice.
This half-gallon jar likely held about, or slightly more than, 3 oz:
I don't / didn't weigh my harvests, but after smoking half of it I finally got curious and had to weigh her out; resulted in around 1.5 oz. Very dense, indeed, even bone-dry (the way I like it).
The high is a very up high, very sativa. From the looks of the trichomes, the from-seed generation could have easily been chopped @ 65 but I chose 67 to get a few extra days of flush in. I'm hoping (expecting?) that the clone generation will finish a tad sooner.
At the time of the testing, I had an extremely high THC tolerance where not that many types of (even dank) weed will get me very high. But with this lady... a few bong rips made me wonder if a few more would be wise... wondered what level it will take me, and whether I'm prepared to go there!
Lifts a lot of weight off of your head, shoulders, feet, everything; just made me want to get up and do stuff, even though I'm generally a procrastinating, lazy type.
