Are 315 CMH lights worth it?

Heres my first 315 cmh grow. This light is all i could hope for. 2 mainlined super skunk sensi. 4 week veg. Second week in flower. The one super thing about cmh for me is the tricomes. Every leaf on the plants is busting with em. I will post again in a week when the frost is comin on. That little room is a steady 78 degrees and 40 percent humidity. They get organic plancton twice a month and phd water inbetween. I finally got the watering down. Oh yea its plain old potting promix nothing else. Hmmmm... oh yea Happy New Year. Man i'm baked. Lol.

Has anyone noticed an increase in resin or terps from the more full color spectrum range that cmh has over hps?

I am thinking about just grabbing a CMH myself. First time growing. 4x4 tent. Have a 600 viparspectra but I don’t feel it’ll be enough for flower. I’ve read so many threads about QBs I’d like to go that route but am so confused. The more I read the more I think I understand until I try to price it out and get lost in numbers. In a year the price will hopefully come down for QBs and from everything I’m reading the CMHs do really good. Will probably spend a little more and get a better quality one than a topolight, I like the reviews on the growers choice.

glad I ran across this thread, I was about to buy 2 600 watt vivosun hps lights on amazon, they have mixed reviews, most complaining about bulbs are junk, sooooooooo in a nut shell should I get 2 600 watters or 2 315 cmh??
Get 3, 315s. Better coverage, more points of light, less electrical draw.

amazon best place to buy fixtures?
Amazon was were I first looked. Reveiws weren't great and shipping was pricey (135$ shipping, the light kit was only 120ish But my local hydroponic store hooked me up with a better buy & didn't have to wait for shipping. I've got a 400w hps ,reflector , mogul , bulb , and magnetic ballast for 175 $ tax included.
Cmh was out of my price range at the time (325$) or I would have grabbed that lol.
