Blue og and ogs kush about 3 weeks from germ both on node 5, I have 3 other strains on the same growth rate, one thouf h is double the rest...

Aight, so I take it if I did it now there's a possibikity they will fail? Or just be weak like a seedling ?

I like to wait till preflowers where I'm cutting are more developed. You could cut now and most likely be fine. I've cloned tiny flowers... all about temp / humidity when cloning.
 
I would wait until you have a bit moire branches first prob another couple weeks. That way you'll get some good solid clones. You don't want to take all the new healthy growth away or else it will slow down. You also don't want to remove more then 50% of the plant as it needs at least 50% to live. Also, are you taking clones band letting her finish(is it sexed)? If so wait a bit longer..but if your filing the entire plant up for clones I like to let it grow into a big mother so I can take as many as I need when I need off my of mother. If your going to top them you can do that now! And save use the top cuttings as clones, which will be very strong and healthy!
 
If you need any pointers, I'd be glad to help..I get like 95% success rate from just doing a couple extra things! Make sure your cuts are at 45 degrees and I shave the bottom to stimulate faster stronger root development. Your also gunna want trays and domes with vents that you can open a couple times as day, always make sure everything's sterile, A spray bottle to spray the domes or if you don't have a done to keep the humidity up as clones need ity warm and humid the clones themselves, a couple times as day as they require water and or liquid karma through leaf aborbstion and always cut above a node that has at least 2 nodes above it as well trim off the bottom set of leaves and some times cut your next set in half to avoid nacrosis from happening, you trim becuz you want the energy devoted to developing roots not be growth at this point. But be sure to grasb some rooting gel or powder, it's vital to successful cloning! Hope this helps!
 
I agree with everything hayshay says but I don't use rooting gel. Sometimes I use a dash of Root 66 in water Rapids rooters sit in, but other than that just water.
 
Ive found it best if I take mine right at pre flowering, and have waiting up into the 2nd week of flowering to take my clones. They just revert back into veg if in flowering. Seems to always work better for me. 5415.gif

Yes, preflowers are perfect timing, because you can aex them from this point and you don't have to worry about cutting males unless ur producing more seeds or breeding! Which is lots of fun! Have you grown these strains before?
 
Sry I waited so long to respond, had a dtore run to do... theu are all fem seeds from the tude. I am doin a perpetual sog with 2-3week vegged clonee and just wanted to know when is dafe to take maybe 1-2 clones per plant... and I would love the help bro as I am new, ill atleast wait till this weekend to clone though it has many lower branches growing

P.s these plants are from seed and are my mother plants, so untill they grow too large for my mother cab, they will stay rthere as mothers

I am actually just getting ready to do some cloning! Getting my next veg ready! Got OG and bubblicious x purple kush (strain I crossed) about 16 days into flower (gunna post some pics later) and some white castle, purple kush, strawberry kush and cheese coming up. Cloning and Be topping the white castle and pk tonight!
 
And no I've never grown these strains, only a run of bag seeds, though ivw got a buddy helping and I spe d a lot of time reading and chatting with people online on growing ect

Yeah of OG or kush in general can be tricky but some of the most rewarding strains.. Def one of my favs! And cloning lower branches is great as they have more haramones there, so they make great and healthy clones!
