are ouija boards worth me wasting my time?

But the absence of proof is not conclusive of non-existence either. Just saying.

But the same could be said about dragons, elves, gnomes and smurfs. Just because something is not proved or disproved does not automatically give each possibility equal probability. While we can never be 100% certain of anything, I'd bet we'd all agree (jesus, I hope we would) that the mythical creatures I mentioned don't have a 50% likelihood of existing simply because they cannot be disproved. Most of us are probably 90%+ sure that they don't exist, some of us just lump yahweh into that group, and for the same reasons...

Fair enough on the probability.

i really don't think there's life on Mars but science keeps searching for it.

I don't think they're solely there in an effort to find life. I think they would also like to know if there once was liquid water and any signs of life in Mars' past (among other things). At the very least we should put up a McDonalds, Starbucks and Apple store there ;)

The search for past water or life is still the search for life. Granted, given mankinds history, we are probably trying to find something to mine on Mars.

But we have direct video evidence (or is that direct to video? The tiny squeak of hairs being split.) of smurfs. cn
