Are They Finished Flowering?

Hey guys,

This is my first grow, they’ve been flowering about 7 weeks at this point, and I’m wondering if an experienced eye can tell me if these buds are ripe for the picking.

thanks for the help!

From what I can see (and it isn't much) you still have alot of clear trichomes.

Try taking photos with regular lights. Additionally, get close ups of the crystals (trichomes).

That will give us a better way of telling if the plant has finished.

More information such as strain, whether it's an autoflower or photoperiod(regular) would be an asset as well.

Flushing does nothing but strip much needed nutrients away from the plant. There is no point in flushing unless you have a salt build up.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to buy a jewelers loupe. Pick a section of bud and examine it.

You're looking for a clear/cloudy/amber ratio.

I personally enjoy a 70% cloudy : 30% amber ratio because I need a narcotic/sedation high.

Other people prefer a 30% clear : 70% cloudy ratio for a more cerebral head stone.

The ratio you're looking for is mostly cloudy with either a clear component or an amber component.

The second set of pictures is much better than the first.

7 weeks is pretty early for most strains to finish. You usually need to specifically order strains to get early finishers.

3-4 weeks?? Even though they’re on their 7th week of flower? I just began flushing them at the beginning of this week. Should I start adding nutes again?
Yes, they are hungry, give them food. The last few weeks are when they bulk up the most, you are only hurting yourself and all your hard work by stopping feeding.
