Looks nice man!! I'll say hello to my zob and salute your hard work. What size pots would you recommend for a 4x4 tent?

2 and 3 gallon pots work great. 5 gallon would be fine too but i don't use anything that big anymore. those are all 2 gallon (supposedly) and the tent is 4' 9" square.

I cant wait to get started again. I just moved back home from Salt Lake City, what a strange F***kn place. Fishing and camping is great but the MJ laws up there are messed up to say the least. I've been lurking under the radar for 5 years at least now. Time to come out the basement. :peace:

What do you say to people who get better taste with their hydro than you do with soil? Not saying I do, we don't know what each others product. Homebrewer for example uses Floralicious Bloom Plus to provide the essentials a plant needs to produce terpines giving a "15% increase in aroma" - homebrewer, that hydro doesn't do as good a job as providing as soil. I'm a firm believer that a perfect nutrition regime in hydro cannot provide a lesser product than the perfect soil grow.

That, I prefer good taste over quantity leads me to believe you think you can taste synthetic nutrients vs organic. I won't correct your perception regardless of how scientifically absurd it is.

Also, I stated it's easier for me.. ME. I'm ignorant growing cannabis in soil. Don't use blanket, "Hydro is not easier" statements. Life is relative people. I am short today. Gonna stay away from RIU for a bit. Philo I'll still respond to your messages but I am officially out for awhile.
have yet to meet anyone who grows hydro who can say their product tastes better than soil. I have used a lot of the GH products for instance my last grow I used" grow, micro, bloom, florablend, floralicious plus, kool bloom , powder kool bloom .. And it still never beat a organic soil grow. hydro isnt easier its more time consuming thats all. Hell you can skip watering soil plants for days and they wont be hurt.

I dont want to stir things up either but I can tell you I can actually taste synthetic nutrients. For example, I could tell you if someone used gh 3 part or Botanicare. Just like with organics you can taste that "earthy" taste. Hydro has it's pluses and it's minuses but all in all it's whatever is best for you. I can and will say though that every massive grow I've been to in Cali, Oregon, Washington, rhode island, Florida, etc... If they are hydro growers they still have one room of soil just for their personal. I think that's enough said right there on which tastes better.

Hydro is just as easy as soil when it comes to growing IMO. it's just some people are made for land and some for water lol. If anyone that grows hydro and thinks their stuff tastes THE BEST then I would like to exchange some medicine. I don't like to toot my own horn but even growers I give my bud to can't wait for my next harvest. All of it's gone before it's even cropped and that is just because of the taste.
I have been growing hydro for a while and it still doesnt beat the tatse one gets from a soil grow. I dont know, i can just tell the difference maybe I just like MJ too much lol.

i have read your posts since you got on here and all you seem to do is spout bullshit that is never backed up with anything. why dont you start showing us some of your actual results instead of reading shit and thinking you know whats goin on. you spit a good game but you have yet to back up anything. and most of what you say does not have any basis in experience it is just your own bullshit conjecture. i have left you alone thus far because you were harmless, but your advise is starting to lead people the wrong way. lets see you end product or a plant past week six in flower and we will decide how full of shit you are.

there is a HUGE difference in the size of the 2 gallon smart pots (the short ones) and the 2 gall grow bags. the grow bags take about 2/3 more soil! i know they're 2 gallon because i have 1 gallon, 2 gallon and 3 gallon bags.
The three gallon grow bags hold as much dirt as a 5 gallon nursery pot. I like the black grow bags so I can put them out in the sun for the day and the soil heats up quickly

I'm with you irieie, masters seemed like a pretty cool guy but with the last few statements he made I'm starting to think you actually have no idea. I'm no pro and still think I am a noob in a lot of ways when it comes to growing. All I know is The stuff I grow my patients and anyone else that has tried it, loved it. That is enough gratification for myself to keep on growing :) irieie I'll have pics up tonight of my orange and pog. :weed:

I not sure if this is allowed but I live in Canada & have a lisence to grow.
We are coming to stay in early Nov for 5 months & looking for someone to help with a very decent product.I do not want to chance bringing my own with me as the border guys are not that nice.I also have a letter from my Dr. from a few years ago so I could deal with a compassion club but dealing with 3 I wasn;t so happy with what I could buy.Two were from Vancouver and found better on the street.
Thats when we applied for permission to grow for my wife which turned out to be the best thing we could have done.
If anyone wants to help me out hopefully we can private message I will check that I have mine open to hear from someone.
I just am finishing here so we can leave for the sun as feel so much better in Gold canyon area. The mexican we got last year was not what the Dr. ordered.
I got some cronick at least that what it was called but it was very wet and over priced for what it was.
I need some help from that does it right.
Also I am trying the curring in a jar but won;t be able to finish it proper so in the frezzer it will go.
.And does any one know if a letter from a canadian Dr.will work out there?
Also how up to date does it need to be as mine is a few years old now.
Great site
