I have a steady airflow from outside. An intake and exaust dif sides of the room use it in the same way a breeze would come threw the room. In summer its all about ac. Is your 1000w hps in an inclosed hood with vent ports? Intake from the room threw the hood out the window.just what I would do.

depends on your room setup . . . outside temps near 90 brings in 90 air. Not sure where in AZ you want the temp but weather.com will show the whole state. Where are you ?

All my lights all are cooled with air from outside and exhausted outside........a/c is always on.....all year round but it only cools when it is hotter than I have it set/so in winter it just circulates air.....I also have a swamp cooler set up to bring in fresh cool humid air......used only in summer.........I have another inline with filter to control odor and humidity exhausted outside........and I run all my lights at night...........the way you have it set up you will keep having heat issues especially when summer comes around ..........your light can only be as cold as the air being pulled through it......since the light warms up your room the air that gets pulled through it will be warm.....

Hey guys just wanted to share my experiment. Never grew before..just took all the good and bad info from the forum and started a CFL grow with a couple of bag weed seeds
Built my box and away I went.
Due to the space restrictions on my grow. I decided to try to stunt the plants. So, after 14 days of veg on the first plant and 9 days on the second.
I started the 12/12 Cycle.
The first older plant was topped @ day 16 (Kind of screwed up the topping..dah..Had to do it again today)... I will not top the second plant.
Just want to see different style of plant growths.

I'm running 2 CFL's. 1-65/300w 5000k 4300 lume and 1-68/300w 2700k 4200 lume.
Both lights will be running as a mix till this experiment is over.

Pic's
Plant #1 is now 23 days old
Plant #2 is now 18 days old

They look a little droopy in a few pictures.... Because I over watered 5 days ago and needed to dry them out a bit. Fed them today and 2 hours later they are all perky again.

I hope they turn out to be both girls.

They look healthy to me..what you opinion?

i'm using smart pots for the first time. they definately dry out faster. the smallest i can find are one gallon bags! i want to pay better attention to root mass so i'm thinking of getting some real small air pots, .3 of a gallon, for my seedings. and then i'll transplant into the bigger 2 or 3 gallon smart pots.

i have money today and i'm :joint: thinking...

afghani malawi skunk ssh clones 001.jpg

i just flipped them into flower! most of these are seedlings so the room will thin out soon.

i planted these long after the rest and decided that i'm going to flower them too.
