ashy residue leftover in nail after dab

Theres an ashy residue leftover after dabs from this strain, i dont know if its impurities or if i didnt get the nail hot enough everytime cause my good torch is misplaced.

kind of like a black marshmellow burnt onto it i guess is the best discription i could give.

What process what used to make the concentrate?

An oil vaporizer will develop a light grey ash. If it is black, it is not completely volatized.

I clean my nails, skillets, and wands by periodically super heating them above 700F, so as to turn any residuals into a CO2 and ash, like a self cleaning oven.

what do you mean volatized?

and ya i got my other torch back and it will still leave a black ashyness after dab everytime. i picked up ask and it was harder type of black ash , just trying to help describe
