Ah, well, I thought he made your post look pretty silly. And, I thought maybe that was why you went and started a whole new thread about the same topic... to get a fresh start. But, now I see that you didn't respond to the points he laid out for you because he's just not a 'worthy opponent'. LOL.

the question of god(s) will always come down to opinion. how can it ever be otherwise? god is an absolute and we can never be certain of absolutes. even your short list of supposed absolutes is ultimately deniable because it depends on our observation to verify and the very act of that observation alters what we observe. god is infinite and our grasp of the infinite must always be incomplete. we may construct our models and advance our theories, but we are finite beings and must define even the infinite in our own finite terms. god is beyond reason and any discussion concerning its existence must eventually devolve into meaningless semantics or a mere schoolyard scuffle.

if the point of this and similar threads is to point out that atheism is no more logical than religious faith, then it is a hollow victory. any atheist with the fainest hint of introspection must admit that their denial is a matter of only semi-informed choice, just as the believer would have to admit that their faith is based on little more than tradition and emotion.

there is no ANSWER. the only real choice is whether to plainly admit it or to claim that it actually exists, but is hidden in the mind of that which we can never understand.

In case you got confused... I wasn't talking about myself being a legend or anything else. I was talking about how pointless this thread is. How the hell does that relate to me being a legend in my own mind? Why the fuck did you start a whole new thread when there are already a couple of others going on? And why did you bail out on the one that you were already trying your best to debate in? I thought it might be that you were made to look like a bit of a fool. I especially liked your claim that "Cool the Bible has been found to be 98.5% texturally pure to the original manuscripts, and many discoveries in history and archology can be attributed to Information from Holy Scripture.Other Scientific discoverys were mentioned In scripture long ago and are just being found out now"

What does "texturally pure" mean exactly?

Be specific, what has the Bible (and not any other religious text) discovered before science? Exclude things that were common sense at the time and were impossible to test by traditional scientific methods.

Your religious website gets so many things wrong. Atheism IS merely the lack of belief in a god. Yes, my cat is an atheist too (as far as I know).
The atheist debate position does not need defending because it is merely a rejection of the claim that there is a god. There would be no use for the word atheist if no one ever proposed the existence of a god. It is a reactionary position, not a primary one. Your website tries to make it primary then attack it. That's called a straw man fallacy.

Screaming blue ants, celestial tea pots, spaghetti monsters in flight, they all explain the same thing. Unless there is real empirical evidence and a reason to believe, why believe? Do you believe in fairies? Are you an afairiest? What about the pink unicorn I keep in the trunk of my car? Do you not believe in him? Are you an aunicornist?

I made my thread because the calling all ignorat athiests thread was knee deep in shit throwing and was a retarded premise
for a debate/thread imo.

I actually was just seeking athiests who know what an atiest IS to debate,to my folly i was hoping to avoid the cluster fuck
shit throwing match and just stick to a debate style format.

Also I live in America and was raised to Pretty much do what the fuck i want so if you dont like my thread

There are already two others debating god/atheism going on. I'm not sure we should all start new threads when we have a thought about this debate. It means as compared to say the dead sea scrolls the bible i have in my hand is 98.5 % just like the 2000 year old scrolls

The NT compared to the writings that are in existance is 99.5% texturally pure.

sigh....theres more texts to support the bible than there is for any other anchient writings

Apparently you got your panties in a bunch over that, and the best response you could come up with was this random insult. I think if you're going to try insulting someone, you ought to at least try to have it make a little bit of sense.

Look up the word 'texturally'. I'm not sure that's even a word, but if it was it would relate to textures. This may be confusing for you, but the word texture does not refer to text. Morons needing more time on their homework... If you can't spell, and you can't put a sentence together, you can at least try the spellcheck function in your browser - it'll at least make it sort of look like you made it past 6th grade.
