Getting back into growing after about 5 years off. I used to grow for awhile and aside from the first two grows I grew an unknown strain that I bred seeds from during my second grow. Unfortunately I lost my seed stash during a move. Not sure if they'd still be viable after 5 years anyway.
This time I'm growing some Northern Lights and AK48. But just for fun I decided to grow a few bagseeds. The seeds came from some schwag brick weed. I'm not sure why, but as you can see in the pics below, some of them are mutated as hell. I don't know how normal this is, but I've never seen such fucked up looking plants. One is even growing two tops already all by itself. In the past I've seen the first set of serrated leaves kinda twist or have a cresent shape to them, but I've never seen plants so massively screwed up.
On the filpside, I have one plant that came from the same bag and it's goregeous. Judging by the size of the leaves, it's gonna be a monster. No doubt that this thing is a sativa. It's growing at an exponential rate too. That's probably due to the T5's though. When I used to grow I just used A LOT of T12 shop fixtures and nothing else.
There's another plant from the same bag that's doing decent but has more Indica qualities to it. But then again, I think it got overwatered and that may have caused the wide leaves. Who knows. It's droopy too so overwatering is a possiblilty based on what I know (which ain't a whole lot). This plant and one of the mutants are showing some yellowing already as well. The strain I used to grow didn't ever need nutes until later in the process. I gave it some 1/4 strength nutes anyway and the yellowing has slowed/stopped. I've been more careful about watering too so mabye that helped. Again, who knows.
Here's the pics. First is the mutant plants. A few stretched some because I was afraid of cooking them. These T5's are quite a bit hotter than the T12's Used to grow with. Regardless, a slightly stretched sprout is better than a cooked one any day...
Mutant 1. Notice the two shoots already growing:

Mutant 2/dwarf plant:

Here's the massive sativa. Lot's of secondary growth already and a tree trunk stem:

Here's the indica/overwatered plant. I ran out of pots/cups so I resorted to using a milk carton as you can see:

The whole family:

I may or may not flower these depending on how much space I have when the NL and AK plants fill out. If I do flower them I'm gonna keep an eye on them to make sure they don't go herm on me. Even if I just veg them awhile it'll be fun to see what they do.
