Alright, I've decided to go ahead and try this on my current FI grow. I have 8 plants in veg that haven't shown male sex yet. There were originally 10 and 2 of them have shown balls as preflowers so I've gotten rid of them.
About 10 minutes ago I topped all of my plants and kept the tops as clones, but I decided I would see how this works out. It's not a true comparison because I don't currently have any non-topped plants, but with all the clones that I have I plan on doing more growing in another space as soon as I can afford to buy a few more lights.
Anyway, in this 4x4 tent I have topped all of my plants and 4 of them are standard topping with 2 tops and the other 4 are topped and one growing tip has been removed to restore them back to one single dominant growth up top.
I've taken some pics to illustrate the difference and I'll post some updates here as the differences show throughout my grow. For my details feel free to follow along with my grow journal as I'll update it quite a bit more often.
