I'm 18-25 but let's not be specific.
no disagreement wit that, its a change of topicy, people get busted using secure tech but its usually through traditional policing (not through the tech unlike normal web sites). most get busted at drop offs, mail outs etc. if people follow stupid practices IRL, no tech will help. my point was that, if a hidden service of the types we're talking about gets in the wrong hands, everyone involved is not screwed (as would be the case with a normal web site). these servers think they're talking to themselves so if they get busted, they can only get the server for doing business wit itself...lol

Digital ballast don't come cheap but best prices are on eBay. Literally type in Discount Hydroponics Store, In the search for stores on eBay.
Although they have packages/kits, for some reason it's cheaper to buy the products seperately then in the packages but they are by far in my opinion cheaper then anywhere else and also offer the best service I have seen from someone on eBay.

note to those talking about buying stuff cheap on ebay - fairly recently a respected member here had their lives pulled apart by piggies and it all started with a traced ebay order for a bulb :/ its probably worth paying the extra and finding a real store to buy from... or even pay that store to order the item for you from ebay?

doesn't seem to be happening daily so maybe its certain companies and/or certain employees there and/or piggies only doing this for people they're already interested in :/ no need to freak out (if they haven't knocked down your door yet, they either haven't noticed you or are profiling. either case, being safe from now on would work well) but it would be a good idea to think about these risks and come up with ways of reducing them. i'd say in most cases it would be worth buying things from legit local stores and get them to specially order what you want if they don't have them - the $/prison ratio would be worth the extra cost

Would prefer a store in person then a ebay store but one major problem, Grow lights, Carbon Filters, Water pumps and reflectors are all banned here in SA for purchase unless you provide 100 points of ID and sign a form allowing police to come check your grow whenever they want without notice. I can say I have safely purcahsed from certain ebay stores without problem but others without rep I would be skeptical of.

Why is it so much cheaper to order a 100l bag of perlite from melbourne to Tassie than it is to buy the perlite locally... Farking ridiculous... even with postage it is still less than half of what I would have to pay for it locally...

Yeah, All I can say is I know there is one store in ebay that has 15,000 rep and I can bet at least 50% or more of it is from people wanting to grow. I think if you order more then $1500 worth of stuff it might be suspicious so I have never really made an order for more then $1000 under the same name.

Because your local store probably has an expensive supplier or doesn't sell much so has to have a higher amount added to each product whereas an online store probably sells a lot more so can reduce the amount they add to a product for profit.
