yep lots of prepping the ground, lousy infected mushroom compost bought in last season infested the place with fungus gnats & invisible(broad mites), pray to the gods you never get those feckers, it took a while to figure out what was happening, all of a sudden within a few days all the hairs off the half formed buds just disappear, plants stunts & just does not grow any further, buds taste just like burnt rubber

Was that from a nursery we used to get ours tested before we used it..

i got it from just a local hardware store, they always get different brands in & ive never had an issue with importing bugs into outdoor grow areas until now, very careful from now on for sure, i lost approx 40%-60% in total production from those mites

im just trying to limit anything from unknown sources brought into the grow area now, i know the good ol dynamic lifter is safe & canna coco coir is safe too, but as far as those small company blended compost mixes with added pig//cat/dog/cow/horse shit im a bit ginger about using anymore...could have anything in it, and if its severe it can mean total destruction of a whole years effort

theres various types of amgrow, try to get the best premium type, all the potting mix brands mix huge amounts of woodchips in with the blend, ive even sifted searles premium potting mix to find more that 30% pure woodchips, its BS man, woodchips do nothing positive for weed at all & in fact tox it out when it gets to the 80% point as found in black & gold potting mix, they use woodchips because its cheap by the ton & saves them from making 100% top quality potting mixes, i rang searles & told em its BS doing that, but they said their scientist say its a correct mixture...yeah yeah

Prob stick to same as last year with my solo plant in the ground wonder woman by nirvana seeds.
That shit is so dank after a 2 month cure that i think.ill run it again.
Not sure bout my other two smaller ones in the 60 litre smart pots prob ultra sour and bubblegum from TH seeds

Just to chime in guys i use nuetrog brand ferts rocket fuel pellets , seamungus,go go juice and kabloom.
These are all from neutrog and really good but south oz made.
The only powder fert i use is maxibloom...yep u heard me right lol.i used the maxibloom all the way thru didnt use any maxigrow and i think i done alright from 2 plants. (Over 2 lb)

searles is ok really, i use a 50/50 combo of charlie carp mixed with aquasol for growth stage, once every 4 days, clear water the rest, then flower i use bat guano(bloom) 50/50 with a standard bloom formulla like dutchfest A & B, every 5 days, then clear water the rest, then canna pk 13/14 for that mid budding period, if im rich i use the canna bloom accelerator for the last 4-5wks of flower, apart from just clear water for last 2 wks before harvest

nothing to be worried about please, searles & amgrow are among the best, plants grow well in both, but there is unneeded woodchips, but plants will still grow in it...however dont even think about trying black & gold potting pix, genuine 80% per volume is woodchips & your plants will get 40cm high go very pale then die...thats how shitty that mix is man, it should be banned

only regs as im without electricity in remote locale & cannot do clones & im soo used to just breeding/crossing various strains i dont worry about feminised
