I hope not,if his are mine should be dead lol I’ve been pushing the food into them the last couple of weeks. I top dress weekly with either kelp, organic extra, soft rock phosphate, gypsum, organic kickalong, seamungus or a mixture of them as well as foliar fish hydrolysate, kelp and fulvic then I’ve given them 1000L of liquid food in the past fortnight and the soil had plenty of nutrients in it. I like to feed them up once they are established especially doing organics if you let them get a bit hungry it takes a while to get the food back into them. They're not being over fed?
See if you can get hold of Searls organic kickalong in the green 2kg bag it’s pretty good as a fast acting top dress think it costs me about $11for a bag and does all 15 plantsNah i think they could do with more the leaves are lightening up but the rains been stopping me feeding them
sounds even more like bukkakeahaha bokashi sounds too mutch like bukaki
Ill look into that for sure and ive seen what you mean about the nutrients taking a while it took about a week to notice the leaves getting darker after a feedSee if you can get hold of Searls organic kickalong in the green 2kg bag it’s pretty good as a fast acting top dress think it costs me about $11for a bag and does all 15 plants
That’s just the way organics work, the plant doesn’t absorb chicken shit, kelp or any other organic fertiliser microbes have to go to work on it for it to become available for uptake where salt ferts the plant can directly uptake so you can see them work overnight but they don’t stay in the substrate for longIll look into that for sure and ive seen what you mean about the nutrients taking a while it took about a week to notice the leaves getting darker after a feed
I bought brunning soil as a base. Added perlite, coco, vermiculite. And then chucked in a whole bunch of amendments. Then let it cook for a month minimum.so like where did u get ur soil mix i wanna do bokashi but for me its so simple its hard instead evey one of the vids iv watched thay say bury it can i put it in my worm bin instead
Only you would come up with that gigzhaha bokashi sounds too mutch like bukaki
Hmmm. Might see if I can boost their feed this time too. See if that makes a positive difference to the outcome. That’s just the way organics work, the plant doesn’t absorb chicken shit, kelp or any other organic fertiliser microbes have to go to work on it for it to become available for uptake where salt ferts the plant can directly uptake so you can see them work overnight but they don’t stay in the substrate for long
It probably is if not the most but top 3 most important things I add to a soil mix, yeah it will rise up in the pots a bit and the dust will probably kill me eventually but till there’s something else readily available you can’t go past it for aeration.I bought brunning soil as a base. The perlite was the only one of the above list additives besides the amendments I'd bother with again. As it adds air pockets to the soil.
It does depend on what’s in your soil I didn’t over do it with fertiliser in my mix but I went heavy on the minerals like oyster shell flour, gypsum, soft rock phosphate etc because they are harder to add later and take longer to become available where as most nutrients you can either spray or water in for a quick fix if neededHmmm. That’s the magic of them, all a plant can ever be is right there in that little seed no matter how good we are or think we are at growing if there’s no magic in that seed there’s never going to be in the plantI almost dropped two beans into the NugBox tonight. Was looking at my collection. I've got a few doubles I want to try. But no idea what the fuck they are.
If only I could pick up a seed and ask it "what ya gonna be when you grow up?
Think i might try a stronger feed from now on till i see the leaves get nice and darkIt does depend on what’s in your soil I didn’t over do it with fertiliser in my mix but I went heavy on the minerals like oyster shell flour, gypsum, soft rock phosphate etc because they are harder to add later and take longer to become available where as most nutrients you can either spray or water in for a quick fix if needed
I added gypsum a couple months back to the soil mix thats cooking. Also chucked in water crystals. Everyone thinks there plants aren' doing much come start of December but if u planted ehen u should do outdoors dec is normally the month they beast out and double in size in a short period.Yeah mine are only getting seasol, powerfeed and gogo juice with some rooster booster pellets on top but i dont think theyre doing much
