Unfortunately looks like 4 bloody males which sets me back a bit, although the 2 pig whistles (on the right) miiight be females yet. Looks a lot more like calyx's than male pre-flowers however there is no pistils showing but I have seen that happen before but not banking on it. Going to chuck them outside once the torrential rain and wind chills out and collect some pollen. They've been absolutely great plants though, both the chinooks stink of straight orange citrus on the stem rub and although people talked shit about the RHS genetics in crosses they've been the best performing so far. 0 delay from being topped, real good structure, nice pepper spice smell.
Got one chinook left that I'm assuming is female since it's growing completely different to the rest however I topped it almost a week ago and it has done absolutely sweet fuck all so not that happy with it but still has the strong orange smell going on. Popped 4 apollo11 x purple badlands that haven't missed a beat so far, the one in the back left is looking interesting, way wider leaves than the rest although you can't really tell in the picture and they all have the same leaf twist thing going on. The right front one already has a sweet berry smell going on with the stem rub so that's quite interesting. Hopefully I have better luck with these otherwise it's going to be a while till I have something good to smoke. Nothing but dirt pgr weed over here even after harvest time. Most people slinging the trash for $360+ still, absolute fuckwits

If you took 100 Skunk seeds chucked them in the bush and let them do their thing in 5-10 generations you’d basically end up with hemp,cannabis in its default state is a low THC high fibre content type of plant.
Chinese have a different type of hemp plant to Europeans as they used it for other products than purely a fibre source.

Australia has and does have some great varieties. Mullumbimbi madness for one, Aussie Blue, Used to be a nice local one here called Marrawah madness. One tough plant, grown on the North west coast, so hit with forrociuse winds and the cleanest air and water in the world.(argubly).
Trouble is they have mainly gone or not worked properly.
Mullumbimbi madness would have to be the iconic aussie strain...fkn Kanga did some nice crosses with it to. Huge trees...like massive. (for the ones who haven't heard of it google kanga's grow or similar and search for it)
Nugs may have a seed and I know of a indoor guy in England on here who was traded a seed of it.
Thought my dad may have but the cops got his older seed stash.

Mullumbimby Madness is a real strange one there is the strain grown by Kangativa and then there’s another line which may or may not be related to his that’s also called mullum madness it also became a generic name for weed grown there but the real deal madness is supposed to be a real mind bending almost hallucinogenic high

If you’ve ever been to the area where he grew those you’d see why he was able to do such nice plants,the soil in those hills I’d some of the best you’ll find anywhere and the climate suited those long flowering Sativa perfectly.
Think he got busted a couple of seasons after that one but I could be wrong

Those old guys didn’t really name their weed back then,there was little groups of guys that did stuff but most guys were tight lipped about growing and the guys that did talk only spoke to those close to them there wasn’t much of any “proper” breeding being done on the coast in those days

Also the problem with mullumbimby madness since it was an outdoor strain and EVERYONE was growing weed in that area most of the crops would get pollinated by random shit so it quickly changed over time. Have always kept an eye out for some seeds of it but have never trusted anyone to have the real deal since a lot of old school blokes I know said it died out due to the pollination issue

I haven't read it in awhile ut I thought that grow was in NZ? Which would surprise me...lol
But yea, the hinterland of North NSW and South Qld is Sativa heaven. Ground gets to cold to fast for me to flower the Aussie blue properly....and mold...lol
If anyone wants to try to stabilize Aussie blue I'm more than happy to send up enough for a good seed run. Just PM me.

Having Thai as one of the building blocks was never going to end well when the guys growing had no idea really about genetics not that they weren’t excellent growers but before the net opened up the communication and info sharing pathways they weren’t aware of all these things we know now

at least we didn't get the Mexican brick. We may have gotten seed but the pot was pretty damn good.

Mexican was some of the best weed on earth just most was badly dried and “bricked” up when wet still. My old man spent almost the entire 70’s travelling through Africa,India,Nepal,Pakistan,Kashmir,Afghanistan and the Americas and rated some Mex as as good as anything but when they started spraying Paraquat they lost a lot of the really killer lines they had unfortunately.
