Top soil was dry . Bottom soil still a bit wet wen I added water ...but I'm trying to make them chase the water , ive made it to easy for them to start with also they are used to lite r+b led light panel and fluro. So should I get stones for the bottom of the pots to give better drainage .. sun was to try dry it out a bit quicker than 3days maybe 4

No perlite and yes soil/potting mix the water runs out bottom after 10 secs and it doesn't smell mouldy

My advice would be to water evenly mate as you go along if I want the roots to chase water evenly but further away from stalk.View attachment 4204322
