G'day all,
I was listening to the DJ Short interview on the Potcast earlier.
At the 33m 40s mark he says,
"The sodiums were bringing out the sour, and the halides were bringing out the sweet".
And HD replies "I can attest to that one myself".
It made me sit up,and I thought, well I'll be fucked.

It didnt click until I heard that,but this has definitely been the case for me also.
I was wondering if this was common knowledge?, and I somehow missed it.

Nah I wouldn't think so,1.6 is a really safe strength and 1.8 is fuck all more than that. I went up to 3.0 this round but that was with a big hit of K which will spike E.C

In my opinion I think its true which is why for me at least growing outdoors yields superior flavour in my case. I've done both over the years indoors and with the great big bulb in the sky I believe the sun makes a big difference, but in saying that a good indoor grower who knows how to imitate what nature does can get real fucking close and can even change flavour profiles. DJ short is a true pioneer in the field, check out his 3 year old cannabis sealed and aged in wine oak barrels 3 years if you can find the article.

Yeah,no doubt about the sun,it cant be matched.
Im back into it after a long break. Taking these girls bush in a couple of weeks.
2on the left HSO Blue Dream and Incredible Bulk on the right. at about 4 wks.
The smaller one is a week behind. Decapitated the original seedling trying to dehusk the shell ..smhP1020749.JPG P1020749.JPG

But u obviously saw the two I just pulled didn’t u? They were pretty darn big. The shish was a monster cropped clone and evened its own canopy out. The crystal I fucked up with not considering stretch and I didn’t do any training so it Xmas treed straight for the bulb. I have the feeling these next ones will be bigger again so I need to get prepped now.

So again I ask... chop those tall tips and tie or what? Or just tie?

Yeah i saw how big they ended up, didn't know how big when ya flipped tho haha. I'd probably just bend them down bit of a supercrop maybe

I'm trying 15 gal geopots in my bush plot this year.
I went pretty hard out there in past years,but as I'm getting older I'm looking for ways to make things a bit easier for myself.
Also tried out some autos for the first time this year. (freebies).They were done in 70 days and came through just
before my stash ran dry. Yield and smoke was decent. Best thing was they saved me having to buy the pus that passes for weed in my area.

The golden nuggets started flowering as well. Some really nice looking ladies. The one with the best stem rub doesnt look like it will yield though. Not really stacking at all. I hope im wrong
