you learn something new every day. cheers man
..I dont consider myself extremely gifted, but i'll throw my 2cents in anyway.. A chicken wire mesh will do fine. It's what the majority of people use who dont have nylon netting. I got mine from the Hydro shop for $2. 8Enough uses the net from a child's soccer net, which i think is better cos his squares are 75mm whereas mine are 100mm n seem a little too big..hey hey kids
how are we all going ,yeah im pumped for some strange reason ,i just went to mates place and had a discussion about the screen to use for scrog
he says no the metal because the gal or zinc coat will react bad with the plants , i say what no way fuckaroo because i dont like to change plans ,he say what about a sheet of perspex ,grow those bad boys under until there ready then add nylon netting then flower
i say hummm you might be on something
like crack ,do you have any idea what a sheet of perspex will cost that big
but my point :do you extremily gifted growers of the aussie grow thread think that metal coatings will react with the plant and what should i use as a screen and how are you doing today
I've heard that about veg nutes too. It can lengthen maturation times if used late in flowering though. I wouldn't use it past 6 weeks on an 8 week strain and even then only 1/4 strength.i heard of people using a half veg mix and half bloom mix
but i use the same nutes right the way through
hey, i was reading an article were he had done 2 grows with 1 plant full veg and the other veg with flower nutes at 12/12 ..he said the plant with just the veg nutes outperformed the other one by miles.Roseman has tryed it also and said good things,he also said in hes book the yellowing leaves means lost potency but he did write the book in the 80's.Jimmy the nursery im at now has metal screens and the plants dont seem to be effected. The 'Veg' Nutes is only a good idea in about a 10% ratio..
Cheers dude, lol, i jizzed on it so it would stickfor sure dude
the top looks good every thing nice and neat and where should be
bottom left looks good too
how did ya get the sticker on the dirt (i know)
daym. They out performing mine by a mile. MH seems to be the shit? How often you feed them and at what strength? Here are my White Rhino Girls. They were hatched on the 16th May.. They have been fairly neglected, but that is all part of my madness when i look for a nice mother or breeding plant.. I want a fighter
As you can see they are very Indica Dominant These 3 are the Soul survivors of the 10 i kept of the 50 i hatched
I'll proli end up keeping the plant in the top of the picture as it has the fastest growth, but i'll keep the others for another forthnight n see if they can wow me with node size or branch thickness etc..
