Aussie Growers Thread

Haha ur absolutely correct sir! Slight brain explosion - I put it into the tent on the 18th but flipped in garage on the 25th feb so coming Monday is 5wks not 3.

It’s actually quite difficult to photograph the foxtailing but that’s exactly what it’s doing I’m sure of it. The bud structures aren’t like any I’ve seen anyway. Again it’s simply too hard to capture with the lights but there’s like 2 or 3 branches that have fatter leaves and the buds on those are developing much faster (still foxtailing) than the rest of the plant with super skinny sativa leaves.

She’s been trippy from the start that’s all I know, and no way I see her finishing in 3 or 4 weeks! View attachment 4311730

All taken just now all from tops

Looks good to me

Is foxtailing that cabbage looking shit you get at top of buds.

If so I get that on a few buds mostly the ones straight under my lamp. Nothing to worry bout IMO.

Wait you canned your last batch because you over vegged them and they where taking too long so you decided to run a 16 week + sativa. Makes sense.
Correction: I canned the last lot because they were too BIG and 8WEEKS still had done NOTHING.
Also if u read my post properly u’ll notice I said “I didn’t choose this plant/strain it was a rescue.
Don’t start dude honestly

How can you over veg.

I have had plants to big for my space just cut them back.
Not sure just going by the feedback I received on here copped crap for “vegging too long” ?? So I thought I wouldn’t do that anymore fucks me

Indeed your a master grower

Na I just abuse the fuck out of my veg plants. Only the strong survive and I’ve always got spares that end up in the fire instead of being flowered out. I do a batch of clones every 2 weeks ish just to keep my mothers happy and my clone game strong.

I literally made an observation. Jeez you take everything personally don’t you. 16 weeks is a freaking long time to lock up a spot.

Hey I’m not the one that killed them because they where too big. Personally I just trim and monster crop plants that get too big for a space.
Well excuse me then... I pretty much rely on this place for advice and I don’t recall anyone giving me any when it came to those ones. All I got was chuck em outside and bobs your uncle. I tried that and they, as well as the 3 already our vegging we’re now visible over the fence.
I learnt my lesson I cut my losses and moved on. Same thing u should do. Can’t go forward if ur too busy looking backwards.

The “cabbaging” looks like heat damage imo. Would make sense if it’s only one patch of buds under the lamp, you could be getting a hot pocket. Get an ir temp gun of eBay (the cheapo laser ones) and check.

I’m not locking the spot up. Again, I said others will go in to flower at the same time in different stages, seedlings first clones after

I don’t think you understood what I mean by locking up a spot. I run a 2 screen perpetual and pull it every 4-5 weeks normally. I could never lock up a screen or even a 1/4 of a screen on a 16 week strain. Would throw all my times and heights out. My harvest currently is what my father and I smoke between harvest (he has chronic back pain) and I can’t afford to extend my harvest times. I struggle to justify 9 week plants sometimes

I have no idea what u mean by “screen”? And I’m glad u have your set up dialled in that’s great.

Like 4 buds max get that shit I just pick it off an Toss it don’t worry me. I got a kick arse exhaust a few fans inside all my tents.

Thanks for the advice anyway mate

Screens as in scrog screens. It’s more that I’ve actually got 2 dtw trays set up to split my space and can put screens in for support or training as needed.
