Unless you go for a commercial type A/C unit you are going to have to work with the stock controller.

I've got one of these set up to switch on my dehuie and A/C and my exhaust fan runs via a timer.
The Dakin splits have a module for hooking into a third party system, without having to go to full on commercial system. That’s what I’m using, works great!

Very nice!
Keep an eye on the temperature of the soil in those black plastic pots when temps outside are high, they hold the heat something terrible!
yea but im in tassie....lol. Was 27c in the shade here yesterday. bloody stinker- dont know how the SA boys do it... I also have em in the garden where the pots get some shade, plus sitting on dirt not concrete, two others in that back ground. One to the right which is fairly easy to find and one at the back dead centre thats not an easy find.

Cleaned the big tent. All the buds bagged and tagged those Uber eats bags come in handy. Installed the new fan it’s a beast even sucking in twice as much air as the old one it’s about a 1/4 of the noise and you can’t here it on normal speed. Really is a ghost fan. I’ve pulled out the old water system. I’m just waiting on my trays for the tents floors they should arrive today or tomorrow. Then I’ve just got to get the buckets in get my watering dialled in with the new halo rings, put the plants in and I’m back. I also ordered a decent dehumidifier I’ll need it this grow.
Does anyone know of a silent or quiet portable air con unit?
no but Bunnings has em on special atm. (ac units that is)
