im a bit dirty on my tip shop (not the council guys who are fkn legends). I drop allot of stuff off to them and they wont give me anything back. Some stuff they are expensive on and wont budge.
Slack dogs. They’re literally selling what’s been discarded as rubbish. Should be priced to move quickly so it finds a home and doesn’t just end back up on the tip face.

with brewing

my recipe is this

the kit, say a coppers pale ale

filtered rain water is all i have so i boil it first

add to fermenter, like wort the kit

one tinny dash of the calcium powder for hardening,,

bag of ice , upto 23l

check temps add yeast

dont laugh to loud rewerb
Doesn’t the cold temps from the ice cause the yeast to stall? I prefer fermenting in winter so the bloody heat doesn’t kill the yeast.

i wasnt going to for beer either.
Just watch out you don’t add something that can survive the fermenting process but make the beer sour. One of the guys I know who has tank water (no town) do beer and spirits & uses RO units for the beer but not for the spirits.
