I don’t get the whole grams per watt thing either....so strain and grower level variant. Just go for pushing max genetic capabilities while producing quality.

must a baseline. We all use electricity and it costs money. It’s generally the most consistent thing to measure off. Like if I’m using 500w and your using 5000w you should yeild more than me but our g/watt could be identical. Of course it’s all strain and grower dependant but a good benchmark, especially if growing for $$, is a gram/watt minimum. since watts cost $$ the better the g/watt the cheaper your producing bud. As I mentioned we shouldn’t measure lights in wattage but yeah.

youtube requires too much effort to verify information, there’s more disinformation getting around the tube than valuable information. As they say opinions are like arseholes, everybody’s got one

see much difference between the hid and led or readings. Where you should see the most gains is on the edges where the hids bleed off

Unfortunately Reza I only got the PAR meter when I finished setting up this room and had made the decision to go LED, so I don’t have comparison readings.

yeah I agree. most gpw would be considering a 8 week flower cycle.

as I mentioned we shouldn’t be referring to lights by wattage anyhow but by the amount of photonic energy they output. Would allow for much better comparison without needing in-depth knowledge on electrical efficiency etc

Ok, Makes perfect sense if you’re commercial. Production cost, efficiency etc..

Growing sog is hands down the most cost efficient way to maximise Gpw/time with next to no veg time.
Overall harvest is top quality. But is a lot of work and...... don’t get caught with that sort of plant count!

was hoping not to have to put it into gear today

bloody yummy is not loading anyway theres a bit of a storm about

so ill just have to learn how to grow weed from this

You have to search and search.
So many different methods of growing.
You have to figure out what style of grow is best suited for you with your setup/space
And research that.
then there’s outdoors, another kettle of fish again!

gpw is just a quick look for small/medium grows to really see if they’re being efficient with their light etc. it should really only be used to measure similar systems anyway.

that depends, legal growers still need to account for space as a $ value so sometimes it’s economically beneficial to run a veg area especially when running multiple strains.
Running sog isn’t viable for a room running 10-20 de gravita 1000w

What exactly do you want to learn about? Growing weed is a fairly large subject.
