Aussie Growers Thread

i got 48 grams from the one plant and that didn't include the popcorn buds and seeds, the seed bank description says it will yield 40-50 gram so i got darn close lol
my 60dw got pollinated by another plant that hermied on me, i got 40+ seeds from the 60dw so im hoping theres more autos in there, but despite being pollinated the smoke was still amazing, i had to give my other 60dw away to a friend im sure his enjoying it right now :P
i do think it's worth trying out because the smoke is fantastic, if you got the money to fork out go for it.. an maybe you can pollinate 1 an get more seeds for free
 
it might sound strange but you would hope for at least one male in that six pack autflowers seem to be the way things are going i agree but ensuring a good stable seed/genetic base would be the only hitch
 
i reckon 2 oz per plant is good you could fit like 9 per light and well you do the math. In your journal the 60dw looks good, did you tip it all, how much light did you give it

They are supposed to be feminized seeds so there should not be any males.

The clones are growing (and very nicely too), I expect to treat them with Colloidal Silver in no more than 2 weeks time and I will def let you know how it goes (as it goes).

It definitely works as it is how seed breeders churn out the fem seeds.
 
got a silver coin here waiting to be butchered if G.O.D. gets it to work ! imagine having your own fem seeds of your fav plants :) now thats what im here for... ;)

I'm going to be busy - I only have 15 strains that I want to get seeds from - the Red Dragon will be the first, damn those clones are doing well ... they are in 4 inch square pots and roots are already coming out of the bottom.

I'm thinking I will only make pollen from one clone to pollinate two females as I really want to give a clone to a good friend, and four clones are destined for the next scrog.

So has everyone got hold of an old phone charger and a couple of alligator clips yet?

Not yet, I always thought you had to get a female that wouldn't hermy under normal conditions and could only be hermied chemically, else you ran the risk of having hermy seeds, least that's what seedbanks do but then they have the capability to grow out a thousand clones.

I'm also curious how well the electrolysis will work, most articles say you need silver nitrate which is crazy expensive in aus if I can use plain silver I got a bit of shitty old pure silver jewelry I can butcher.
 
got my seeds from seedsman and a medium shirt :( not going to fit anyone I know, kinda annoyed my sister opened my mail again, and if it isn't her it's another roomie, fuck if it was important i'd let you know openeing someones mail "just in case" is still illegal.

I got a medium shirt this time as well - not much use at all.

Glad that the seeds arrived - their promotion must have seriously slowed their processing as usually they arrive much quicker.

What strains dod you get?

just some northern lights I have a few KC strains and some skunk special just looking for an easy to grow quick finishing outdoor strain at the moment with some decent yields, then I'm going to give the putting clones that are 2 weeks into flower outside Idea a go. I'm pretty sure you said it works and I live i brissy too, hoping for ~ 2 ounces of a 3 foot plant (veg them to ~10 inches.
