I'll just name a few dope acts: Lyrical Commission, Prowla, Bias B, Crate Cartel, Bigfoot, Broken Tooth Records / Hired Goons, Lazy Grey, 750 Rebels, Def Wish Cast, Chillinit, Wombat, Complete. There's heaps I've left out. This probably isn't the kind of rap I'm assuming you're looking for. This is more of a 90's ish boom-bap shit. Being kiwi/islander you're probably going to go more for HP Boys, possibly Onefour and the rest of that type of shit. Not being xenophobic or nothing like that but it just tends to be the way it is from my observations.
I thought Def Wish Cast were American ?

Hey fellas, how we all doing on this fine afternoon? I've been busier than a motherfucker lately so little time for staying up to date in the forums. I'll upload some flicks whenever I can find some additional time. Just got to find a decent metadata scrubbing app and then we're in business.
I've just had to cut the terminal colas on a couple of them as they're more Sativa leaning phenos and they had already started exceeding the fence line. There was no guarantees that the stretch wasn't entirely finished in them so an executive decision had to be made. Oh well, now those side branches should thicken right the fuck up now!
For Widows/Rhinos some of these bitches look like they're going to have 10, 11 and maybe 12 week long flowering phases. I was kinda hoping they'd all be 10 weeks or under max. However, there was one pheno out of the Rhinos that looks like it's got maybe another 3 weeks tops so in saying that it looks more like 8 - 9 weeker.
If I had the ability to be able to take clones/mothers where I am it's safe to say these ones weren't going to be keepers. The other Medman/Rhino on the other hand is most definitely a keeper. It's only half way through it's flowering phase and it's already pumping out a tonne of trichs. I just hope we keep getting these low to mid 20 degree days we've been having lately and that the rain/wind holds off.

DJ Vame - The producer/DJ for Def Wish Cast was the guy who made all the beats in 046 too! These cunts went hard man. I love this whole era of hip hop in Australia. The era where if you were whack you got thrown off the fuckin' stage (literally!) and you actually had to be nice to even be treated as anything other than a lower life form.
That’s the crew; half them islanders are not with us anymore.....shit bro then you would remember some of the writing crews TAV and OSB; all my mates were in one or the other (I was a filler; couldn’t write for shit lol)
Mate; I can remember one year at the “blue light disco” in CTown Feelin Fit and that muppet model Nathan Harvey was like a celebrity guest or some shit.....046 were playing and security marched that Harvey character in (if you know CTown from the day then you will know as the Everlats saying goes; “nothing soft ever came out of CTown) anyway poor cunt made it about 10 metres into the fracas and one of the FOBs knocked the poor cunt out; he walked in and was carried out maybe two minutes later.....ahh the good old days

I'm not from that area or that era (just a little bit younger, a mid 80's baby) so I'd be lying to ya if I said I knew them. But when you're talking graffiti/hip hop you're talking my language. However, I can't say I know those crews. I'm pretty schooled on my history but I don't know absolutely everything about everything. I know alot of writers from that era though but alot of them are from the city. Old school searchers, ram raiders and shit like that through to Christian writers.
Fuck me swinging, I've said why too much about myself! Luckily for me nearly every hip hop head and writer is into this shit so it's hardly going to burn my anonymity.
