Any recommendations on nutes for an outdoor grow? I’m in week 3 of flower and I’ve been using Potash every 3 days and I’ve used the purple Powerfeed (Flowers, Citrus, Fruit) once for a bit of a N hit. Looking at the hydro shop websites is overwhelming for a first time grower. I’d love some help.
Went to a B and M Hydro shop and got sorted.

Bullshit & Monetising Hydro shop??? Mate, I'm taking the piss here (in case you didn't twig.....), but not dissing you.

Take a look at the chemical composition of that bottle & you'll probably find that the majority of it is just MKP (Mono Potassium Phosphate) with a shitload of water added (which is what you just paid-for).

Don't worry, you're not the first person to fall for the "Secret Sauce" bottle marketing hype & you won't be the last. It's a learning-curve that can be overcome & surpassed.

Your plants are looking absolutely great & healthy. For a first-ever grow, that's a real "hat's-off" moment. Keep it up! You're already ahead of the crowd.

Anything to get off the Oxy, yeah?

I'm gonna throw this back at you as a learning-curve:

What do your plants need now that they're into early flower?
How long do they have to go?
What are they going to need later?
How are you going to deal with it?

What do your plants need now that they're into early flower? Bloom nutes
How long do they have to go? 6-8 weeks
What are they going to need later? Bloom nutes
How are you going to deal with it? Give ‘em the shit I bought and the guy at the shop told me to use

I’ve had no other flower nute recommendations to go with so thought it wise to visit a store.
I recon it may be harsh to assume the Hydro shop gives poor info and sells bad products? They are a 2nd generation business…and with all businesses, it’s not in their best interest to mislead customers.
if you think I should be using different nutes please school me…its why I’m here.

Mate, you did right. You did fine. No problems.
Again, I'm not dissing you, or Hydro shops. 'Just that you can do better with a bit more research into growing this stuff without spending money on water at exorbitant mark-up prices.

I've been there, done that. I've learned a lot from the folks here who have helped me BIG-TIME & then paid it back when I've found local sources of materials that can benefit others.

It's a community.........

calling mine week 2 so hoping for mid to late April for the chopView attachment 5256925
just eco seaweed so far on this girl :weed:
Must be week 2 for me as well, they look very similar. I’ve squished all my girls wide. On the screen side and the opposite side due to sun availability. 2 seem like they did a re-veg cause they are far behind the one in the closeup pic. All would be well over 6 foot without the ties.

its your last chance at plant training so if you could tie them down a bit without snapping them be good

if you not worried bout neighbors just leave them
Height is AOK now…right at the max level without being seen. I go down to street level to check. My neighbour which I share the balcony with (separated by the screen) can see the tops but they are cool…I asked them before I started if they minded and told em I’d give em a big bag for putting up with smell.
Here’s a preference question for the ages; Wet or Dry trim?

Personal preference is to take the larger fan leaves off when they're ready & still standing upright (much easier to move around the plant to access all areas to do this). Then chop/hang/dry what remains.

The more small leaves you keep on the buds, you'll get a slightly slower dry, but you can then trim them for making extracts (ie. you've gone to all that effort growing them, don't waste potential goodies;)). If you wet trim, you still have the issue of drying the trim. Some folks just discard it, but I've found you can still get some good extracts from it. Have multiple pairs of Fiskars & a glass of alcohol available to soak them.

Try both ways & find what works best for you. You're looking at quite a potential haul from those girls, so I imagine you'll have plenty to experiment with.

Welcome to "Trim-Jail"..........

EDIT: This sort of thing is good for both ways: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284999012724?chn=ps&_ul=AU&_trkparms=ispr=1&amdata=enc:1ejJnZPHrR7Gtsmv9oYxT6A42&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=284999012724&targetid=&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9071520&poi=&campaignid=15984321586&mkgroupid=&rlsatarget=&abcId=9300814&merchantid=115530299&gclid=Cj0KCQiA54KfBhCKARIsAJzSrdrKzSpA6rJbBokJqS3yWeyBovU14sa1v30AQR3TGIBur0euOevn6PgaAnz6EALw_wcB

Happy to see that product suggestion…I got one all ready, a six layer 2 foot circumference one.
Being in an apartment my only choice is to dry in my bathroom. I can blackout the window, take quick n cold showers and piss in the kitchen sink, all to try and keep the humidity as consistent as I can (it won’t be consistent). I also got a blue tooth temp and humidity thingy so I can monitor.
I’m gunna hope I can dry in as close to 7 days as possible so plan on doing a wet trim to speed things up.
When I began the grow I was hoping for 10 ounces but I may end up with 2 or 3 pounds. I can max vape 15 ounces in a year so will give away heaps and make butter with premium bud…don’t think I’ll worry too much about trim extracts.
Im gunna tell all my mates to consider my home like Sizzlers - if you come over it’s “all you can eat” (smoke/vape)…I’ll probably insist entry is 2 muffins.
…and I bought enough Grove bags for 1,200 grams.
Fuckin nuts to be in this situation…can’t count how many time I couldn’t get or afford pot, now I’m gunna give it away in ounces!

Guess again, crafty evil-doer! You'll be done by mid-late March, with some reasonable weather to come. You can chop & hang stuff on your balcony. If the weather turns to shit, you can always bring it inside in the drying rack.

Man, I'm getting some really horribly vivid visuals of your scenario & the whole cold shower thing!!!!! . You really shouldn't have done that....

DON'T try to speed things up. 7 days ain't gonna happen in a bathroom. You run the risk of rot. Slow dry. Let things take their course. Leave them on the balcony for as long as you can.

You say that now..........
