What I wanna know is if any of you guys grow guerrilla and get chased by man eating crocodiles and taipans and spiders and all that
Mate, it depends on where you live in this "Wide Brown Land" of ours.

Salties (man-eating croc's) are more prevalent up-North in the tropics. Taipans (fucking horribly aggressive & venomous bastards) are generally found in arid/desert areas.

Spiders here are everywhere & they're great at keeping the mossies at bay. Some of the largest, hairiest/scariest dudes (ie. Huntsmen) are absolute pussycats & I'm happy to let them crawl all over my hands/arms with no fear whatsoever. Think of a spider with a leg-span of 4-5 inches.

A small Redback, on the other hand, can give a fearsome bite that's extremely painful & could kill a small child in the wrong circumstances. If I find one it will be summarily despatched without a second thought.

Funnel-Webs - NASTY fuckers that can kill you pretty quickly without the anti-venom on-hand. Either avoid, or send them to spider-heaven rather than deal with the problem.

Does that answer your questions?

I'm probably the foremost expert on the American northern copperhead snakes, and to some degree timber rattlesnakes in the northeast. Wrote a book on the subject. I know quite a bit about snakes, and more so their denning habits. But I was more so wondering about being in the bush. I can think of places here that are tick infested, and in the south, snake/spider infested. I know guerilla growers tend to grow near water, and those salties i hear live just about everywhere in the northeast territory, including puddles. I've seen pictures of dense jungle/savannah that look like if you took one step in them one of those beasts would get you. Just curious if anyone has had any bad/scary experiences... but thank you for that..
