Well mofo I’ll be honest I expected worse, have u harvested anything yet?
I'm expecting at least 10-12 weeks I'm at week 4 now,, that pic was wk 3.. at least 7 heads the same size ..
Sweet. I'm more interested in what's happening with the root zone and the DWC system ur running. Pics and a short tutorial on how u built it.
No discoloration and I'm changing resi weekly .. took away the free flow between tanks as it was pulling roots with it . pH is at bullshit high levels here cause of no rain.. min 8-9 so the pH creeps up every now and then .. but still my first dwc and first nugs I'm happy..

I've got that planned for after this grow, and I'm going 2 per 20ltrs in a 40ltr tub x2 .I'll show what I've done when they not sleeping.. pretty simple setup compared to what I've seen really

It been good using flat lemonade as a pH down.. gives a nice sweet smell to the diesel-y musky smell.

What an entertaining read reading back over last nights posts.
Go's to show how silly and blind some people can be just to see a nice arse.
And yes I must admit it gave me some satisfaction to be proven right- sorry about that but I was getting slung so much crap over what others didn't see. Glad it opened most of your eyes. Thanks again JJJ for setting the record straight. Lets hope we can all move on.
Shame yet again posts were deleted that didn't break the rules.

How far do you go with defoliating lower leaves and buds that aren't getting light?

Does Swim cut shit like this off??
(There is heaps of small bud sites that aren't going to see light, this is 4 weeks into flower)

Swim wants to leave the plant to do its thing, but Swim also read the lower level buds sap a lot energy and decrease overall yield.
Buds don't need light to grow (I belive it does to ripen??) but a cannabis plant sends its resources to the top part of the plant so it wont grow very much.
You have a few options, leave be and add it to your oil jar, Lollypop the lowers (just do a google search) or use those lowers as clones or use the lowers in a reveg.

Swim is not really used on RIU as it is on other forums. We all know its urs anyway....

Don't you mean they don't serve the same purpose in photosynthesis as the leaves do?

I'd think buds absolutely do need sunlight to grow, photosynthesis and all?

Being the fruit, wouldn't the plant put it's energy into preserving it instead of cannibalizing, so it can seed?
