as long as the top part of the plant is receiving light the lowers will grow (as we can see in his pic) Its the green wavelength I belive that can penetrate down.
Its a flower I thought? Yes the plant canibilizers the leaves nd then the lowers. I cannot think of the term but cannabis puts nearly all its energy into the top part of the plant, which makes sense as the pollen is in the main wind borne.
Hence why LST is popular.

Smells gassy as fuck, it will go well in a bigger pot under bigger lights, I don’t have too prove anything to anyone, I do what the fuck I want when I want and sorry but there’s nothing any of you can do about it.... the only thing your going on about is the size of my buds, who the fuck cares when they look like this and are strictly perso smoke... don’t be bitter, get better.... coz y’all look jealous as fuck... imo you are too worried about the supposed money that comes with it, I don’t do this for money.

I liked this. Because that’s exactly how I felt after two attempts and two successes. Third run x 5 I already had vegging same time as shish clones!! They should’ve been triple the size they were in that time but I purposely held them back. But impossible for two indoor during stretch shit went crazy and there was only so much I could bend before snapping branches. So in the eight weeks the indoor still hadn’t produced anything substantial due to the heat. Not one person here suggested or even asked me the temps in that room. Like I knew they’d be suffering but I didn’t realise that’s what would happen - the high temps evaporates the turpenes and resin glands and retards bud formation. Nobody here said anything even after still saying no smell no trichs and little shitty tufts of hair @ four weeks!! For a thread u all claim was a “wealth” of information, nobody helped me. This thread turned into tnt. Raving on about a place for Aussie banter and pub talk well then someone should have started an Aussie thread in tnt and not blown up every new person to come in here -
Anyway long story short by the time I figured it out the three outside were now bigger. This was my front patio at one stage:

And the only suggestion I got from two people was “whack your two indoors (who had also stretched like absolute mother fuckers due to the temps) outside and flower all 5 out in the open. At that size it just wasn’t viable.
THEN another Energex guy had to come in and walked right past them. THEN I find out we’re moving house.
So my decision was made there was nothing more I could do with them. Someone said after the fact I should have just hedged them down to the size I wanted. If only he had thought to tell me during the grow would have been appreciated.
How this relates to your post? It doesn’t really. It just shows how when I felt like u I was all of a sudden claiming to be the best grower on riu or something! when all I was, was happy and proud and LUCKY to have received those strains. That’s how you’re feeling you’re proud because ur doing a beautiful job with beautiful strains. While u get pats on the back all I got was u fluked it bitch now fuck up.
You guys can say whatever it is u want but it’s a case of social sexism. You receive wisdom while I receive ridicule.

My point is it's the plant as a whole photosynthesizing. Can't have new plant material without photosynthesis occurring first.
There's more plant matter up the top, because there's more light there.
You'd in general agree "more light bigger buds" right?

Botanically because the flowers hold seed it's a fruit.
