So ,how was your weekend, ill start, done a Road trip ,caught up with a top bloke on here, gave me some deadly clones, thanks rewerb n Dusty, also some seeds put them in my pocket stayed the night in town left my shorts in the room, guess what was in the fkn pocket ,not happy
Whoever finds your shorts & recognises the contents of those two little bags I gave you (guess ~ 50 seeds?) has just landed a windfall...

Give those girls a haircut & get them into the ground, or bigger pots ASAP.

I have changed over the lighting from Red/Blue leds to this which is standing about 40cm from the medium is it over kill or should I purchase an actual t5 for the first few weeks?
those cfls are fine for veg. Only downside with them is they don’t spread the best.

if you interested in leds look at something like horticulture lighting groups boards or something similar like highlights etc.

Hps is still the best light for beginners imo. Cheap and effective and will teach you about climate control.

Ay ladies and gents,
Looking for some help regarding LED bars and quantum chip boards I don't want to spend an arm and a leg but want some premium full spectrum lights can anyone help point me in the right direction..
What do you all recommend for a 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.3m tent that won't break the bank and will get me some good results links or brand names would be grouse. I'm looking to start getting back up and running in the next month or so cheers in advance and happy growing
depends on what you want and how much effort you want to put in. With leds you kind of get what you buy so cheaper leds are cheap for a reason. If your comfortable with electricity then there are plenty of strips and boards on the market to suit pretty much any budget and style. If your not up to designing your own look into horticulture lighting groups quantum boards or grow lights Australia’s highlights panels which are both diy kits that are pretty simple to knock together.

If it were me, yes, I'd invest in a 2ft T5 HO that will be always be good for propagation and early veg.
Not expensive and never hurt to have one of those in the arsenal.

I have the 2ft 4 bulb and 4ft 4 bulb versions of these fixtures in my propagation tent and quite happy with them.
The 2 bulb is $80 shipped.

One of these other guys like @reza92 can advise ya on LEDs for your main light, that ain't my wheelhouse.
ive actually got one of those 2ft 4 bulb t5’s in storage since I’ve converted to led for veg. They go hard for what they cost.

I've been.using the 4 bulb 2 foot version.to start my outdoor plants under for the last 5 years....this year surprisingly I never started anything under lights prior
Berthas size surprised me more than a bit
