Hey guys, I'm a new grower in Aus and was just wondering what you guys use to control Fungus Gnats when you're late in flower, Gnatrol/BTI doesn't seem to be available here and I don't want to risk it with Neem Oil this late in flower. All the hydro shops around me didn't even seem to know what Gnatrol or BTI was. I was looking into Spinosad?
I used to use Eradicate, have a full bottle of Gnatrol i haven't opened ( i changed mediums) but unless the infestation is stupidly bad then they wont do any damage.
Gnatrol on ebay for sale.

Do nothing. Put up some yellow sticky traps to keep the flyers out of your resin and just ride it out they wont do any damage unless its a heavy heavy infestation

I can only find 2.5kg of megcrop for $99, which brings it close to the same price as 2x1L Canna Vega + Flores. Flip a coin?
2.5kg of mega would be equal to 2x5l canna Vega + Flores (which is for the canna tera growing medium but would technically work in coco)

personally id go the megacrop and mix it into a stock solution, 100g of mega per 1l of distilled water (technically it should be 900ml but eh close enough is good enough). 10ml of solution = 1g of megacrop

As lucky said, gnatrol off eBay or depending on your medium a layer of sand on top also works. (Might need some Geofabric to keep the sand washing into the medium).

Spread a layer of Diatamaceous Earth on top of your pots

Are you saying 2.5kg of megacrop makes 25L of watering solution? Eg, 100g x 25 = 2.5kg.

True i just dont see the risk of driving around with a few bags of trim and root balls to somewhere and dumping it to be found somewhere as risky as putting it in the bin i know bin trucks have cameras but honestly as if anyones seriously watcjing it and all theyd see is some black bags come out and some broken up dirt
That's a fair point you make

How does everyone go about getting rid of their old rootballs and trim? I just chuck it straight in my bin and some my mates reckon thats crazy but i feel like its better than dumping it somehwere
i either burn at home in the drum or dump at the tip. Easier with the perlite medium to dump at the tip.

People who dump in the bush should be shot.
