Both dolomite and gypsum. Lite on the dolo heavy on the gypsum. Gypsum is gods necture
Gypsum is good as a soil breaker, but it has minimal effect on the pH buffer capacity compared to garden lime. If you are using it as a buffer instead of a clay breaker, You're better of using garden lime (calcitic) and Dolomite lime at a ration of 70/30 respectively as it has a relatively quick acting effect on pH stabilizing and breaks down as available calcium a bit faster.

garden lime (calcium carbonate) is pretty useless as a soil amendment past its ph buffering capabilities. Dolo is better as calcium carbonate (garden lime) isn’t able to be uptaken by plants. Also overuse of lime is detrimental to soil health overtime. Gypsum is used to add calcium to the soil that plants can uptake in the form of sulfate. Gypsum will also helps a bit to keep soils from compacting too badly

it’s got nothing to do with clay breaking or ph adjusting soil. It’s about what those ingredients are putting in the soil for plants to uptake with calcium being one of the most important but easiest to lock out.

Yep I got it straight backwards in a drunk and stoned haze. Gypsum is around 170 times more soluble than lime, but has no pH raising capabilities due to the sulphur. I don't know what the fuck was going through my head.
yeah the only downside to gypsum, imo, is it’s not water soluble so only serves a purpose for us in soil based systems.

Any idea on percentages for the mix ? As in adding the dolomite, gypsum and worm castings, etc.
My old soil mix was used late last year for a 3 month auto grow. It had some perlite and vermiculite mixed into it
as well as bit of blood and bone. Needless to say I have sifted and removed the old roots out of it.
I'm doing another run of indoor autos.
Thanks in advance.

Just hover your hand over them and go with what your gut and the force recommend.

heavy hands on the gypsum

light on the dolo

light to very light on the b&b.

as many worm castings as you can afford

Here is the latest....the offer to sort it out......better than nothing.

Subject: Issue with item received
Hi Customer,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, we have been waiting to hear back from Catch regarding this issue. It appears Catch has incorrectly listed and mixed up our products due to a barcode issue. On our end, it shows you have purchased the 4 x 250ml Canna Additives Pack and not the 5l. During our investigation, it shows you have only paid the price of the 250ml pack and not the 5l package. As such we are unable to send out the 5l products. We do apologise for this inconvenience and would like to offer you a 50% refund, along with keeping the 250ml products.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Thanks,
Cathy

I’d still call that a win with the 50% refund.

Probably a stupid question but - at what point is a seedling considered to be a plant at veg. stage
and no longer a seedling ? 2 weeks ?

Personally for me it’s not a defined time limit, but instead when the plant can handle full strength feeds.
Thanks for that. Not so much talking about talking about feeding - doing autos and I don't really start feeding them much until they're
in flower. I'm more concerned with when to start turning up the lights and not frying them.
