Thanks for the feed back , I ended up digging up my spot about a foot deep and mixed it up good then put 2 bags of 5 in 1 and mixed through and another bag of some organic soil and covered with lime and gave it a good mixing then threw some armagrow fertilizer pellets over it , left for 2 day went back and watered the lot and gave another good mix through , it has good drainage and close to fresh water , so its all preped and ready just trying to get seeds to germinate or find some clones cheap , might head to nimbin and ask around but would prefer local if theres any around pm me ,

got a nice little christmas surprise. pure black hash from a recent grow i did. i normally get pure blonde hash so to see this black hash is really interesting to me. i used my same method so its still real pure and clean its just naturally black in colour. probably some fo the best tasting hash i have made too. has a real creamy grape flavour, very nice.

and my latest grow is coming on nicely

Took that comment to heart didn't you Scroga, little close to home maybe...

It's people like you that are pushing legalization for medical use when it should be a push for all, sick or not !

I didn't name anyone yet you felt attacked, hmmmmm.....

Those are some beautiful girls you have there man!
And the description of that hash with the picture made my mouth water!!

What grow system are you using, it all seems so cramped yet so good!

also any canberra growers out there? id love to have a coffee or cone something sometime and actually have a nice p2p chat about growing? :)
Ive never grown and would love to actually just sit down and talk about doing it with someone thats got the experience n.n
I know enough to grow amd plan to after feb when the year relaxes abit and i can focus on a grow.

thanks for the compliment mate.
it is simply hand watered coco. nothing flash. i have grown in heaps of methods and honestly a good dwc/bubbleponics type grow is going to out grow the coco everytime but there is also tons more that can go wrong. coco is simple and reliable time an time again. i prefer scrog when im running my clones but when i run seeds i just stake them and top them and supercrop em, whatever makes em fit in my space really lol

Aaw man those flowers :)
Those girls look amazing in such a "nice" sense!
I think il have to use coco for my vegebase :)
also does anyone know where in australia (prefferably a shop local to the ACT) where i can purchase PURple fluorescent lighting?

for the curious or uneducated.
The capilized PUR in PURple stands for "Photosynthetically useful radiation"
And the PURple colour specifically. Remembering standard purple is not useful, but PURple emitts extremely effectively both red and blue spectrums. And for the budget grower are the best lights you can use essentially.
And im on a budget for my first grow ;)

No such thing as PUR. You're thinking PAR - Photosynthetically active radiation. You could also be referring to a PAR can. IDK

You can purchase purple ( both spectrum ) fluro lighting from Aquariums as some reef based fish and SPS corals require both spectrums. Your comment about being most effective is a preference call, if this lighting was so effective, everyone would be running it, you should stick with what is proven and widely used, go T5 fluro for sprouting or rooting, metal halide for Veg, HPS for flower, you dont need anything massive or powerful, 1.5m x 1.5m space and 1 x 600 watt ballast with globes can get you 2 pound if done correctly,check out one of my documented grows here, Harvest pics ;

I never said theyre the best or the most effective -.-
I dont even know where you could have gotten that from. Maybe a cone will fix you up :)

Nah haha i think i see it. I said "incredibly effective" and for various reasons of you dont mind taking the time to read, i did find that post i mentioned earlier. Link at the bottom.

Myep :)
I still know very well what other lighting systems and setups are like and the functionality behind them :)
and i wouldnt say its the best or even second best. But i would say imo theyre by far the most efficient "sounding" setup.

Without being a prick, your exact words were ;

"And for the budget grower are the best lights."

Just pointing out that other lighting systems are proven to work better.

Here's a worthy watch if you haven't seen it, it explains FLIR, what it can and can't see, a lot of useful info direct from an ex police officer. Most of it is common sense but still some good info ;
