Authentic Harlequin seeds?

Tolerance Break

In total? About a year. So posting here has been a humbling experience.

As for trying to grow Harlequin from seed, that's been going on for 6-8 months. With the plants seeming to go into flower at about 4 weeks under a 18:6 photoperiod.
Pheno hunting is a pretty advanced practice. Best of luck.

I attempted to do that, but I must have been too late. The cuttings went into flower with the rest of the plant. I need to do some research into keeping these plants in veg
The best plant you have you can reveg after harvest.

Just leave some lower buds on it and send it into 18/6.

Take a cut of each plant before you put them into flower, that way you don't have to rely on revegging, which can be dicey for new growers. Cloning can also be dicey until you get good, so this gives you two chances, plus you can always try taking a cutting during flower if your first cuttings fail. #1 rule of pheno hunting is to keep a cut of everything until you KNOW you don't need it anymore.

Yes, "Pacific Seed Bank" is basically a scam company. Live and learn though. I was in the same boat and could not find Harlequin and ended up getting Recovery CBD from Seedsman. I think they're even out of those too.

I started with that philosophy, but must've fumbled somewhere along the way. My cuttings went into flower as well and didn't bother with root development at that point. I don't know if the lights cut out on me or what. Maybe my mistake was in rolling with it rather than attempting to reveg

Not sure what to believe :???:

You've got staunch supporters of PSB to "it's a scam" and every opinion in between on this forum.

Their reviews on google are pretty bad. They also make up their breeder names and they steal cultivar names from other breeders. Anyone who does 10 minutes of research can see that.

Growers Choice? I bought a pack of their green crack seeds - not one sprouted, and I know how to sprout seeds. They gave me store credit - which I never intend to use. Fool me once ...

All of these are from pacific seed bank.

Pictures taken 3 minutes ago.

Forbidden Fruit. (Incredibly hard to find) looks and smells like the real deal. It's my absolute favorite weed. Nothing compares to the taste and smell.

My point of posting this is as I have said I have had really good results using them as you can see.

All look to be the real deal. No hermies, strong plants with minimal issues grow wise.

But again no one can guarantee anything with the way the industry has gone with genetics

In hindsight, it looks like most of the complaints against them are issues with shipping.
yup. I called and spoke to them a couple times about shipping time on my last package.
mr. dejoy didnt help by cutting ot hours at the post office. I'll blame him personally

Beautiful plants, Wizzlebiz! I can almost smell them from here :weed:

I'm willing to try PSB again, but I'll need to fine-tune my protocol to ensure that the plants stay in veg long enough to take proper cuttings. I'm considering breaking up the dark cycle with periods of light as a fail-safe. Have you done such a thing? I see that you're growing outdoors, so I'm guessing you let nature handle things.

for me harlequin photoperiod shows sex strongly around 4 weeks.
I thought it was an auto first time I grew it.
Are you referring to the pre-flowers here? Those definitely showed at 4 weeks, which I expected. It was when the flowering didn't stop that it raised a red flag. Do you do anything special to keep your Harlequins in veg? None of my harvested plants looked root-bound, light cycle was 18:6...

I did a reverse image search on a bunch of their breeder logos a while back and came up with bupkis. They're definitely spinning a yarn in that regard.
