Sorry it's been so long since I've updated. Caught some kind of bug. Anyway...

The 1st Auto #1 is now 9 days since harvest, 4 in jars. Smoke report coming in a couple weeks.

The 2nd Auto #1 is developing way more slowly than its sister. It is now at Day 63. Since her sister was harvested at Day 69, you would think this girl would be ready in about six days. However, I would say I am as much as three weeks away from finish. Trich production has barely started and pistils still 100% white.

Since the overall look of the plants are similar, I have to chalk it up to one of the things I did different with this girl. So let's see...

1. I super cropped her main branch twice fairly early on.
2. Unlike her sister, she had two doses of nutes (Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom @ half strength)

Which one of these two things it is i don't know. She got a little nute burn so I stopped with the nutes. Besides, based on how her sister finished, she should have been about due for flushing anyway. One thing I am certain about though...the nutes prevented the early yellowing her sister had.

To add another wrinkle, yesterday I switched the lights to 12/12. I was originally hoping to wait for this second girl to finish, but once it became obvious I was a long ways out, I had to switch the lights for 4 other regular girls I have going. I simply have to take the chance that the switch won't hurt quality or quantity substantially. It's not like she's the worlds greatest yielder anyway.

Ps. Sorry about the lack of pics. I'll get off my lazy ass eventually ;)

no smell one one I'm growing either that's been flowering for about 1 week.
Sometimes in the tent smells a tiny bit like freshly mowed grass but that's it noone would ever guess it was cannabis if they smelled it unlike most other so called "low smell" strains that always smelled like weed and usually not that low smell either

What size pots did you use, this stain looked ideal for me (stealth garden grow) until I read that yours got much bigger than the seeds stats state :-?

Was wondering if I could restrict the size a bit by using small pots? peace, Sensi x :eyesmoke:

Undoubtedly you could my friend. I used 5 gallon pots which I do with all of my autos. Let me know how she turns out for you...It was bad enough for me that I still have one bean left that I have no intention of growing.

Don't mean to discourage you in any way m8, it might just be me!

Thanks for the reply, just over an oz per plant seems good for me! especially when a pack of 5 magic beans is only £25  and the very low smell is a bonus.

I've got 4 regular (non auto) clones on the go at the mo but they all seem to be hermies even though they're not into flowering yet. 2 strawberry cheese & 2 killa queen, very disappointing because so much time has gone into them (not expecting them done till late october-planted in april). The strawb cheese's really stink even though they're not into flower yet! bad sign for me as I'm trying to be as discrete as possible.

But anyway enough of that, I thought to myself hey you know what if they bud great if not fuck them. I'll get some autos so I've still got some nice buds thriving under the lovely weather we're having at the moment. I'm hoping 5 of the auto #1 in 10L pots using regular compost and normal store brought plant food for nutes should still get me at least 4oz of erb whilst staying small and discrete in my garden that has many neighboring houses looking on to it.

thanks for your help bro. peace x

They will likely not be small in 10L pots m8. But they WILL be low odor. Plus I think 2oz a plant is more like it grown outdoors in good soil, so that's cool :)

Any update on the yield numbers for this? I got a 3 pak of Auto #1 coming for coco in 3 gal Airpots with a Go-Box for nutes. Looks like one per pot eh?

What'd you get off them in the end? How was the smoke? Were the buds dense? I'm growing auto#1 as well, much shorter link in my sig if you wanna check it out

Ok, here we are at days 60 and 45 respectively.

Plant 2, Day 45:

So let's see...
Gave one half dose of Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom to plant #1 watering before last. It will be the last dose of nutes for this one since I'm within a week or two.
Plant #2 has had a half dose as well, and will continue to get the same every other watering for at least the next couple weeks.

Notes thus far:
Very low odor, almost non-existant in early flowering. Tall and stretchy, not going to be a big yielder.
I am growing an auto #1 and I cant believe how little its smells...does it actually produce any smell? I am a little over day 40 and its quite short and the nodes are very close...it is starting to flower furiously, will there ever be trichomes?

These are part of my 1st indoor grow of any kind.

Setup is 1000w HPS straight from seed (it's all I got)
4-5 Gallon pots, 80% Peat, 10% Perlite, 10% Vermiculite
Seeds sewn directly in final pots
No nutes except what is inherent in the peat and perlite which are from MG
Cycle is 19/5

So the Auto #1's description from their website:
Code:
 [B]Auto #1[/B]

Auto #1 is our original autoflowering dwarf variety. At one of the lowest prices on the market, Auto #1 makes a great entry level strain. No separate room or light cycle is needed to flower. Passing directly from seed to the flowering stage does away with the vegetative growth period altogether so it finishes as fast as any other auto in our range. When creating Auto #1 we wanted a strain with an improved yield and taste whilst maintaining all the benefits of an autoflowering dwarf like Lowryder. Not only that, it has one of the lowest odour levels of any auto making it an excellent discreet grow. If given 20 or even 22 hours of light, the results can be truly satisfying. More vigorous and with a greater psychoactive effect, Auto #1 has a better taste than Lowryder and many typical autoflowering strains. It is considered very easy to grow, almost foolproof, and its dwarf like height makes it ideal for balconies, terraces or any place where space is limited. Auto #1 will thrive in most climate zones provided it is given plenty of light (even very northern latitudes).

[B]Type: [/B]Indica/Sativa/Ruderalis
[B]Height[/B]: 25cm-75cm
[B]Harvest[/B]: 60-70 days from seed
[B]Stone[/B]: All round body buzz
[B]THC:[/B] Medium
So I have two Auto #1's growing...one on day 48 and one on day 33.

Here are some pics of the first Auto #1 taken 3 weeks ago on day 27:

At that point, it was "so far, so good". Then all hell broke loose. The max height as listed on Auto Seeds website is 75cm (29.5"). I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that because here is the same plant above as she looks today on day 48:

39" Tall. Mind you, no LST or anything. Not having any experience with autos, I thought it best to just leave it be. I was wrong.

So on my 2nd Auto #1, I decided the hell with it and have been super cropping her. Despite being an auto, I think it's taking. I will post pics of her later.

I have at least one immediate question...This is supposed to be indica dom., but does she look sort of sativa dom. to you guys and gals?
Mine looks quite different...very hempy leaves and wifey pistols..small buds so far that are like rocks.
