ill be utilizing
Lights: a 150w hps, 6x 100w 65k cfls, 4x 42w 55k cfls, 6x 100w cfl 27k to mix in and a 4'56w t5 ho strip or two. (i may put it under my 400w hps here and there)

Soil: Fox Farms ocean forest cut with 1/3 perlite and some endo/ecto fungi for the roots.

Nutrients: Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom cut with Earth Juice Bloom, EJ micro-blast, Advance Nutrients Nirvana cut with a little extra molasses, AN Overdrive, & General Hydroponics ca/mg.
& Distilled water.

My main goal is to crush some fears for first time growers!

I am going to do this by:
1. Giving the seedling a 24/0 light cycle from the start! The seedling will never see dark!
2. Not checking PH of my water and soil! EVER! (I can hear the screams)
3. Using a mix spectrum of 2700k and 6500k simultaneously through the whole grow (after the seedling stage).

My soil mix:
2 gallons of Gramorflor soil (A German imported soil) in a 5 gallon Smartpot folded down. I wanted a more wide pot than tall because of growing space limitations.

2oz of dolomite lime mixed in the soil. I have not checked my PH for my soil or my water and don’t plan too. I use the dolomite lime to give me a little PH buffer (I can hear the moans already).

My ultimate plan of destruction!

Stage one: The Earth
1. I soak a rockwool cube with water I let sit outside on my deck for a day and plant it in my soil mix in a little pot about the size of a small McDonald’s soda cup cut in half. I place the seed in the rockwool cube and press it down about a half an inch. I can still see the seed, it is not covered up.

2. I take a ziplock bag and spray the inside with a water sprayer then place the ziplock bag over the cup. I then put 2 35w CFL’s 3 inches’ish over it on a 24/7 cycle to keep the seed nice and warm through her germination process. I am going to use a mix spectrum of lights throughout the whole grow. So right now I am using one 85w 6500k until the seedling stage is over then I will add another 85w 2700k.

I switched to my 85w light set up because I am tired of HTG supply 35w lights busting on me. Out of 6 lights I have bought from them, two of them just stopped working and the third one just blew up and shattered cutting two of my fingers. I am very gentle and the wattage is dialed in.

Stage two: Let there be light

My next update will be when I switch the lights out and change the light cycle! I will start posting pics when there is something to show!

I'm just waiting for my seeds + grow tent to arrive and ill start the grow. This will be my second attempt at growing this wonderful plant.

Soil/nutrients:

I'll be using biobizz all mix soil and organic bio-grow/bio-bloom with maybe some advanced nutes (if i can afford them). I will use PH adjusted distilled water.

Lighting:
I'll be using a 250 watt CFL light to for the first 2 weeks untill i can afford to buy a 400 wat hps, i will be using a 20/4 or 18/6 light cycle throughout the grow.

Tent/Environment:
My plants will be in a Secret Jardin DR100 grow tent, i will have 1 extrator fan connected to a carbon filter and 1 intake fan for cooling a long with an oscillating fan to keep the air moving. I will also have a cool tube for my 400wat HPS to keep temps down.

i'd like to join. i have a kabala (seeds of life) seed that just broke the soil:

Sex : Feminized
Type : Mostly sativa
Flowering : Autoflowering
Genetics : Big Low x AK47
Flowering Time : Medium
Outdoor Harvest :
Height : Medium
THC Level :
Characteristics : Full-bodied and intense fragrance

can i still enter if i add some of my other specs later (nutes and additives), i'm looking into replacing all my line of fertilizers soon.

250w HPS, with Pure Earth aeration mix. tap water will be used.

@upthearsenal

Of course you can still enter. You can introduce what you are using WHEN you begin using it. :)

Ok Kulong pick my strain. Chronic or Bubba Kush?
THE PRESSURE! :p

I personally would like to see the Bubba Kush because I am really interested in that strain myself and might try it in a near future grow.

So I choose, Bubba Kush!

On a side note, just planted my seed.

Ok so I dont do autos but I wanted to get into this for a couple reasons. The #1 reason is it is more geared towards beginners and I like to help but also because it is an odd grow and it will show the new jacks that you dont have to go with an auto to have an easy grow and it will show that it is ok to be different.

So with all the bullshit aside I bring my seed. It is a Bubba Kush from Greenhouse. I will be growing it 12/12 from seed to be comparable to your autos. I will grow it under a 400 watt hps with possible CFL sidelights to be added in flowering. It will be grown in the cheapest soil I can find at Walmart. It will be grown using MG and Jack's Classic with some additives such as peroxide, molasses, Superthrive and epsom salt. I will not PH anything. I will not train per se but I will chop cut and trim anything I feel like. I may switch to my T5, who knows. I will do alot of things to show any new guys that you can experiment and still grow a great plant. I will march to the beat of my own drum for the sake of seeing what comes of it. I am guessing a big pile of fat stinky buds. We'll see.

I have never seen that before. Iused Siperthrive in my germ water and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I have never used superthrive before but many people use it to germ seeds. I think you will be ok. :)

Give it a few days.

To make it fair I don't think we should allow any other non auto strains to take part in this, accept for bigv1976 being an exception.

yayaya bigv, hes our special guest, yo man i wouldnt wrry to much bout how that taproot came out too, as long as the root can continue to grow outa the seed, u should b alright. im really interested to see how good the bubba grows with jus a 12 and 12 cycle.
ive always though bout lettin a blueberry plant grow to bout 8 or 9 inches and then flower it, but never really got around to it. prob gunna save the five blueberry seeds that i got too for when i can manage to grow all five of them at the same time.

on a side not i should have pics up lata tonite
