Day 15 from the moment I put it in the dirt. Not sure if I'm counting the days correctly so I could be a day off. Nevertheless here is Mable day 15 give or take a day. I haven't been using any nutes as this is FFOF soil, so I'm going to wait until day 30 to start giving her some flowering nutes. I had planned on switching over to HPS on day 14, but decided I'd wait until day 20 to do that. She is starting to smell a bit so I'm really excited to start seeing some flowering really soon.

Can anyone tell me if the molasses you get from the grocery store is the same molasses that I can put with my next feeding? Thanks for looking guys, and please feel free to critique if its warranted.

Next cage match to be set in November or December.

I don't get discouraged easily. This is a new thing for me too and I have a lot to learn from running the cage as well. I already have started a layout of the next competition with some adjusted rules.

Also, if you want to post your pics of your autoflower strains that are not contenders, go to my Cage Match group and post away! I made it just for photos and talking all things auto's!

I've gotta say, I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying this!

We're all shooting for that golden ring at the end. And the judging isn't even mentioned! (I love it!)
Obvioully it's not the taste, smell, high. or such.

Already looking forward to the next round.
Funny how it seems we all come here from different backgrounds mostly, and from all around the world. Automaticly that injects different humidities, temps, medium availability. Also, I'm simply amazed as to the amount of soil people as compared to hyedro, areonics, bubblers, etc.

I've gleamed a lot from this little game and enjoyed it muchly. - thank you all.

You bring a good point Canon. We're all experiencing different conditions and we all have to adjust to them. I have no desire to go hydro or aero, soil is what I know and it works. I just harvested my Blue Mystic tonight. It was my first harvest . KuLong is it ok to post a pic with my next update? I won't take up a post just for that.

17 days from seed

She has 3 small burn marks on 3 tips of leaves. I caught it early and made adjustments. It was because I was experimenting with a DIY box.

Watered her two days ago and she is almost ready for more. I might give her one more dose of my 4-4-4 nute before I switch to my bloom formula.






I think I'm in love! I am very happy with my contender so far.

Nobody noticed any preflowers yet? my other autos o 14-16 days have. get looking peeps!

Should be enough nutes in soil for veg, I've just mixed abit of grow with bloom from day15 to be sure.

The road runner loves full strength nutes but recommend a gradual increase of the first couple of weeks, I'l be defantly going to go bigger with the pot if i grw another she root bound but its to late now to repot.

Am I allowed to post a link to an another RR grow journal?

I switched my 85w CFL from 6400k to 2700k.

I was going to put two 2700k to flower her, but I decided I am just going to go one 85w CFL and go against the grain of everyone saying "you need at least 100w CFL".

Why did you decide to only do 85W? Is this an experiment or something?

My 60 Day Wonder at 32 days, 19 days flowering. What do you all think? I think my soil pH was too low, hence the nute lockout. I'm in the process of trying to fix the problem. It's not progressing very fast at all so I'm not trying anything drastic. Don't want to cause more harm than good. Looking nce everyone, keep it up. Oh and a pic of my Auto Blue Mystic harvest last night.

Right now I only tried upping the pH its feedings. I just did some plain water today so if that doesn't work I upped the nute concentration to try to take care of a deficiency. I'll try that and see if it stops progressing. I premix nutes by the way, just because the amount of water the cups take isn't enough to mix every time. So i mix up .5gal at a time and feed from there. Thanks for the heads up though.

I started out on MH, check a earlier post. Zero growth on this end. Switched to HPS and it took off. Moved into the CFLs and it's like on steroids.
May not be the lights though. I'm new with these autos. Now seeing how most everyone had a early stall period, I may have just been experiencing this trait and didn't know it as such.
Think my growth is a tad behind others. Could be anything because I've not been the kindest to it by any means.

Haha canon, I was confused for a sec about the smaller cup thing. This plant is actually in 2 competitions, this one and a party cup grow-off. I don't know how familiar everyone is with auto's but I see alot of you starting to get preflowers now. They'll start to use up a lot more nutes now, so keep on top of it.

Napa if you started your seed before Sept 24, I don't think you're eligible for this competition. Your plant looks A LOT older than the rest of ours.

Seriously, thanks for the compliment. Honestly I have never grown an auto before. However, I have done a ton of research.

Wait till you see what I have planned for ROUND TWO of the Cage!
