People are tripping out because they cant handle the cage!

Why not show us how you make your compost tea? Get some pics up!

I just ordered my 200x USB microscope (damn you Canon!) so I will be uploading some of those pics when I get it. ;)

will do, i've never used compost tea indoors, so this is kind of an experiment. i'm going to make a small batch probably tomorrow

She looks incredible sirwolf. Man I have so much to learn, lol. I'm only using FFOF I did give them a bit of root66 and sugardaddy for the roots but that's it. My water is ph'd to 6.5 consistently.

Gotta give ya some rep for how nice she looks man.

You know, I used compost tea outside an awful lot because it worked soooo well.
HOWEVER, I'm certain what I used you wouldn't want indoors! - LOL
Got some learnin to do.

Fun thread!

If I am new to the Auto Flower scene then is it cool if I post pics?
Truethfully, We're trying desperately to limit photos to the contenders.
Otherwise things get confusing to some of us old farts.:bigjoint:

But, Welcome anyways.

I make my own compost and compost tea and have found that if you make it using an air pump and air stone then you can make it almost scentless.

It's all about Anaerobic vs. Aerobic conditions.

Take your compost, mix with water and place your air stone at the bottom. I use a large "tea bag" to keep it seperated but you can just mix it str8. Let it "brew" for 3-5 days, strain it out and feed your plants! I suggest using it up as soon as you need it because if you let it sit and stagnate then it will get stinky. But when you feed it to your plants they process it before any smell can form :)

LOL, Mine was a mix of old rabbit, goat, sheep droppins. Along with some fish "gurry". She'd "seep" in the 90 deg sun and 80% humidity. 3 45 gal barrels. As I used them I'd replenish the water and seep some more.
I'd spread it on a damp night with the wind blowing in a good direction.
Well, 1 July 4th cookout at the neighbors (just down wind) where I was invited, all I heard was folks asking, "What's that smell?" :-P (I never said a word! :bigjoint:)

that's funny, i bet that particular mixture would be very stinky. 3 45 gal? dang, that's a lot i've never made that much. more like one 50 gal barrel.

Only used 1/3 of each after stirring. Still, that was 45 gals. of shit water I was throwing in the air (broadcasting). Sure didn't want it blowing my way. :bigjoint:

Spraying would of been great! Just too,,,,, chunky. :-P

If you guys are not having a good time, simply leave. The Cage isn't for everyone.

I find that the people who left are making a scene whining on the way out the door is in very poor taste.

Just leave...:| I don't need you raining on my parade.

Also Brandon, you come all the way to this thread just to inform us that you are not going to join?

How about you just don't join!

I personally am having a great time with the cage match. I have made tons of friends, learned and shared things about autos and this thread alone keeps me motivated!

This is why I am staying and am going to run a second, third, ect...
I came "all the way" to this thread, because I'm subb'd and have been watching it everyday, as well as many positive comments to you and many of the others in the thread. I didn't inform you or anyone else besides the person I was quoting. I think it's fantastic idea, but I guess some people just can't follow rules, theres almost as many people that aren't even in this round posting their plants (some aren't even autoflowers!). You have people like SoA who won't stop posting plants, he even just posted a new one named after you!

if it means anything, i say stick around, people aren't following the rules, which is a bit disrepectful but whatever. you might have been only responding to one person, but it was said in public so of course kulong got a bit frustrated, either way the cage has been great. let's all just chill and talk about our AFs and the techniques we use to grow them

Okay guys wish Mable luck, I went ahead and added some nutes and molasses for her feeding today. She's grown about an inch since yesterday. I am going half strength with the Technoflora Recipe For Success. Have you guys heard of this and will it work well with FFOF?
